**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

SquarePeg allows us to leverage AI to get through high volumes of resumes, however it allows us to screen in vs screen out by combining strong human-like inferences with detailed, robust, and highly customizable scoring systems that make it feel like an extension of the recruiter vs a bot replacing the recruiter. Super easy to implement and use.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

They are continuing to add more features daily and are also exceptional to work with and fix/add features really fast, however bugs sometimes do occur.

**What problems is SquarePeg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We receive a high volume of applicants for roles, and we really want to read through all of them. However, with sometimes thousands of applcants and a small team, having this tool has saved us time and energy and has increased our speed to hire.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

We posted a very hard to fill role with Square Peg - we got great candidates  (and some not so great candidates) however we did interview several strong candidates and fill the role.  It was very easy to post the job and communicate with candidates as we moved through the interview process.  Our contact was super helpful and answered all our questions as we went through the process and I can easily see how Square Peg can help companies significantly reduce their hiring costs.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

For us there were none other than having to remember how to use it (this was our first time).

Square Peg helps us identify candidates who are interested in our specific job versus the folks who apply for a job whether or not they're a good match.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

The product is extremely intuitive and effective.  I had some nich roles that were difficult to fill, once we signed up with Square Peg we began seeing results.  I'm sold on the product and love the analytics, responsiveness, and professionalsm.  I look forward to using SquarePeg as my "go to" for all my open roles.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

Need a broader database of various candidates including government and renewable energy professionals.  The search functions are intuitive and AI driven so I'm not that concerned that the product won't catch up as I am using it and it's learning what our typical needs are.

**What problems is SquarePeg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am hoping SquarePeg can provide a solid place for us to go to for difficult or harder to fill roles especially within specific or newer industries.

It is a great time saver!  Eliminates all but the most viable candidates from you queue.  Ability to A-B test job titles is a big help in attracking the right candidates

The amount of reminder emails sent every day.

The biggest problem SquarePeg solves is waisting time reviewing totally unqualified candidates for a given role.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

SquarePeg did exactly what they said they would - they were able to review hundreds of resumes and select just the right ones based on my criteria.  My resume review to interview ratio has sky rocketed.  They also are very communicative with all applicants and do not leave anyone hanging out in a black hole.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

The only thing I dislike is that I didn't find them sooner.

Hundreds of unqualified applicants would apply, leaving the select few qualified candidates buried in the "noise".  SquarePeg is quickly able to bring the top candidates to the surface.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

We were impressed with how accurately it matched us with candidates based on our job description. One of our biggest roadblocks is finding the time to source candidates and SquarePeg significantly reduced that part of our process and left us with lots of great candidates to connect with. The whole tool was incredibly easy to use and very cost-effective. The support team was great and always had ideas or solutions for us.

There isn't anything that stands out as something we disliked. We asked about some things around filtering of candidates but they came up with some great ideas for us.

Automation of our recruiting process. It helped reduce the time spent on sourcing candidates and gave us top-matched candidates who were excited to chat with us.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

First off, the team is easy to get a hold of and responsive. Secondly, it's great to see a percentage match to my job. It's also a very intuitive product that was easy to use.

The only issue I ran into was there were still unqualified applicants making it through because they answered yes to a knock out question even if they didn't have the experience on their resume. But this happens everywhere so nothing against SquarePeg for this

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

Squarepeg helped our small startup find a stellar Senior Engineering to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. We had a very high bar for this role, and we're having major difficulties finding qualified candidates in the area on any other site. We were very close to sending the road to a recruitment agency, but thankfully we found square peg. Their software was very efficient at helping us find the exact person we needed right on time.

There were many great candidates that started to apply to our role on square peg, but hadn't yet completed profiles. I would have loved to see those candidates as wel

Square peg helped us source, screen, and track applicants through our entire recruitment process. It helped save us a ton of time, and connect with the right candidates for the role we were hiring for on our team. We really appreciated the help during a time of need.

It was pretty set-it-and-forget-it. We had several strong candidates apply for our open position, better than we've seen with some of the other job posting platforms. Their team was super helpful in getting it all set up as well.

Some of the candidate sorting/filtering UX within the platform could be improved, but overall not a deal breaker.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

SquarePeg is an excellent choice for lean teams, saving valuable time. What I find most appealing about the platform is its visually appealing candidate profiles, the high caliber of candidates, user-friendly navigation, and seamless integration with our ATS. Additionally, I appreciate the tags associated with each candidate's job history, clearly indicating whether they have experience working in SaaS companies or specific sectors like Healthcare or Insurance. This feature is particularly valuable to us as we frequently seek candidates with expertise in these areas, and SquarePeg easily identifies them for us.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

While reviewing resumes, it would be beneficial if the interface allowed an option to enlarge the view.

**What problems is SquarePeg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SquarePeg is generating a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for recruiters, resulting in significant time savings in sourcing AND outreach efforts. It's that tool you can always rely on that has your back and keeps on giving. We recently filled a time-sensitive role with the help of SquarePeg.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

SquarePeg has been an incredible new partner for us in 2023.  Love the weekly status with our SquarePeg manager. 
 She truly takes the time to understand our business!  The partnership and dedication of the team has helped our small business focus on our priorities and positively impacting our hiring efficiency.  We’ve successfully hired 8 new hires through SquarePeg and look forward to many more!  Awesome time saver, easy to navigate technology and collaboration.  Feels like I have a true partner without adding recruiting staff to our team.

Create a widget for use on company career page that embeds the postings.  Currently candidates have to launch a SquarePeg landing page to see job postings.  Easier reporting & search of candidates.

Reduce number of unqualified applicants.  Target passive reach for candidates to ensure we are getting the strongest caliber options.  Saves times and reduces need of third party recruiters.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

In a market where there is a surplus of qualified candidates, we were overwhelmed reviewing hundreds of resumes for a single position. SquarePeg minimized the initial resume review by presenting the top qualified candidates for hiring manager consideration, while allowing us to view all applicants at any time. So far, we have successfully hired two tech positions through SquarePeg.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

As HR, I am responsible for scheduling and communicating directly with candidates. If you are starting a new message to a candidate that you have not corresponded with before, the system automatically include all relevant team members in that message (such as the hiring manager). You have to intentionally remove other internal team members from the conversation before initiating with the candidate. It's not a difficult step, but you just have to remember to do it.

**What problems is SquarePeg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SquarePeg helped minimize the number of initial resumes we reviewed of qualified candidates. We were grateful to save time on initial resume screenings, and were confident in reviewing qualified matched candidates based on SquarePeg's recommendations, which include a real person on Recruiting Operations personally reviewing the resumes.

Getting hiring right is essential to any seed stage team.  It's also a contact sport.  SquarePeg is essential for getting the best candidates in the most efficient, cost effective way with the best candidate experience. Highly recoomend to the G2 community and beyond.

We have a true recruiting partner with SquarePeg as their team really listens to what we need.  They come back with great recommendations and strong candidates.

There are specific skills needed for our talent pool which are unique based on our industry so initially we had to work closely with the dev team to refine our search criteria.  Not a negative as it has led us to successfully fill open roles.

We needed an additional resource for recruiting which was more cost effective.  Square Peg has helped us accomplish that.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

As the only recruiter on my team, SquarePeg has been a huge help. No matter what, I know that I am being introduced to high quality candidates even when I am not sourcing. The user interface is very straightforward, and the team has been in constant communication to make sure that the candidates applying are relevant.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

Not too many downsides for the product. They are constantly updating features and take customer feedback very well. The email feature was something I gave feedback on to improve and they improved it quickly.

**What problems is SquarePeg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am the only recruiter on my team sourcing for 5 roles at a time. I could hand off two high priority roles to SquarePeg and know that I will get good leads. It works very well, and when a match is above 90% according to their algorithm it is generally a very strong lead.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

Sourcing was extremely powerful, yielding not only a high volume of applicants but then doing the gruntwork of identfying the best candidates. The resulting cohort had one of the highest passthrough rates to an actual recruiter screen I've seen — across several departments.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

Communicating with applicants was not as intuitive as, say, AngelList (now WellFound); but I think this could be remedied with integrations to other apps we used. We only used it as a standalone.

It'sa hard time to hire, especially for startups. We needed a higher volume of quality candidates to fill our recruitment funnel and SquarePeg provided them effortlessly.

From the beginning of our partnership, SquarePeg has been a great partner in our search for talent. I find the interface of the platform to be intuitive and it was easy to integrate information from our JD onto the platform. Their personalized customer support team were very responsive and provided several analytical dashboards during our search.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

Squarepeg is easy to set up, seamless to get started, metric and analytic-driven to show quantifiable progress from the get-go, and result-oriented. I've never seen an ML-powered sourcing system get results this good to great interested candidates into the funnel, this fast and this consistently!

Squarepeg solves problems in volume and quality of funnel right away then continues to add depth and value by measuring job description performance, language, engagement, time on page etc. Their goals are aligned with their customers: get you the best conversion, be memorable and high-quality with results, take the smallest amount of time from you possible to get set up and running, and integrate with your ATS so you don't have to use their platform (but their platform is simple, intuitive, and very powerful when it comes to analytics). 

Additionally, their customer service is top notch and they take my feedback seriously! They've achieved the ability to meet me as a user, administrator, and champion at my level by sharing the right amount of feedback with me and giving me context to justify their work and actions so I can step back even further and trust their process.

**What do you dislike about SquarePeg?**

I wish they were able to provide this level of excellence throughout the rest of the hiring funnel. They haven't yet developed products for use beyond the top-of-funnel sourcing and engagement of quality candidates. If and when they do, they will become a one-stop shop for hiring.

**What problems is SquarePeg solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They fill the top of funnel for all my jobs quickly and with quality candidates worth my time. They are extremely cost-effective, more predictable, and measured, as well as higher quality in surfacing interested candidates when directly compared to even the best off-shore solutions I've used. Saves me time, bring me candidates we want to hire.

**What do you like best about SquarePeg?**

SquarePeg is refreshing because it combines the functions of job board aggregation, sourcing, and screening candidates for a flat monthly fee per job posting. Where traditional recruiting services fall short on technology and transparency, SquarePeg has an easy-to-use interface with real-time insights. Their sourcing and screening processes were seamless extensions of our own, promoting a positive candidate experience.

SquarePeg easily exceeded the expectations we laid out for them. There were no shortcomings.

We've had a few different folks in this role over the last several years. SquarePeg helped us source the best quality and quantity of candidates to date.

Really can't think of anything. We are very satisfied.
