Not anymore. I have used it a few years ago and came back to this after tring riverside.fm But i regret now **What do you dislike about SquadCast?** I purchased the pro version of the tool for today’s podcast. My experience with the tool is the worst in recent times. 1. The website did not work (either it did not respond to touch on ipad or too slow to open). 2.When started recording, microphone have too much background white noise (only when i use the recording). When the recording is closed, it is not the case. 3. Video did not appear for a long time even after recording. 4. Tried with Mac as my ipad may have issues with internet or permissions. But faced the same issue with the Mac as well. 5. tried to file a complain in the help section. But it did not allowed me to write more than a few words. Worst tool. Only let to lose the time of you and your guest. **What problems is SquadCast solving and how is that benefiting you?** If it works well, great for podcasting ### 2. Its ability to deliver high-quality audio recordings for podcasters even when located in different remote locations is truly one of the best things about this software platform! SquadCast is able to ensure that each participant's audio is recorded locally and then synchronized online in the cloud. This unique approach significantly increases the overall audio quality of one's podcast, making it clear, concise, and professional sounding. In doing so SquadCast is able enhance the audio quality of some recordings made using varying internet strength. Pricing- SquadCast is really at the higher end, especially if you or your business has a limited budget for podcasting tools, you might really rethink this and look for an alternative, which there are certainly plenty of them to check out and pick one significantly cheaper, possibly even free, but not as convenient or the same audio quality. 2. Resource intensive- users with less powerful hardware may experience performance issues. 3. Connectivity issues- SquadCast is dependent on an internet connection. Users with slow internet will encounter issues. **What problems is SquadCast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before I discovered SquadCast, my podcasts were facing challenges when recording remotely, such as varying internet connections and background noise. SquadCast's emphasis on high quality audio recordings helps my podcast maintain consistency and produce engaging content. This feature is particularly valuable for podcasters like myself who prioritize audio quality and proffesionalism in our shows. ### 3. It does not require any training to use the dashboard. They have six main features with one being integrations & APIs. The integrations are very straightforward. **What do you dislike about SquadCast?** They really need to improve their support service. **What problems is SquadCast solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use SquadCast to make training videos. ### 4. The host doesn't have a studio where people come to record, and as many of the guests live in different countries around the world, we have to record virtually. With Zoom recordings, it was nearly impossible to mix the podcasts properly, as the audio came out in one file and there were often connection issues. Squadcast records high-quality video and audio for each participant on their end, making it very easy to mix podcasts, publish them, and take high-quality video clips to make social media videos. This has made podcasting so much easier compared to recording Zoom calls and taking the audio from them. **What do you dislike about SquadCast?** Every so often, the app will glitch or freeze when trying to intiate a call. There were a few times where we had minor issues getting the recording started with new guests and having them join the call, but it never interefered with the actual recording once things got started. **What problems is SquadCast solving and how is that benefiting you?** We like to record podcasts, be able to mix each audio file individually, and get high-quality videos to make social media clips and promotions. With Zoom, the quality suffered on both video and audio, and was all mixed in one file. I love that Squadcast records each partipicant separately, which has resulted in very high-quality recordings, even if the internet connection wasn't the strongest. ### 5. I have been a guest on several podcasts recorded with Squadcast and it was so simple. **What do you dislike about SquadCast?** There is not much to dislike. I would say that this is a way better option than using a zoom link or many of the other common options that we podcasters use to record with guests. **What problems is SquadCast solving and how is that benefiting you?** Easily recording podcast episodes with guests. The recording is very simple and fast. **What do you dislike about SquadCast?** For my podcast recordings, I preferred to have the camera off, so I didn't see an option that turns off your guests' camera by default. **What problems is SquadCast solving and how is that benefiting you?** To get the best audio recording quality, you need both guests to record individually and then splice the audio together.
