Spendwise is user-friendly and very easy to learn. I personally set up new users and send them our training video, and I’ve only heard positive feedback from our staff. They tell me how simple it is to use, and they really love the functionality.

I use Spendwise every day since I monitor purchases and handle all Accounts Payable. I especially love how easy it is to look up past PO’s by person, amount, or date (I use that function a lot). PO’s are also very fast and easy to create. When we have recurring purchases, I can quickly copy an old PO to carry the information over and just update the date.

The features I use most are copying, printing, and looking up past PO’s. Overall, it makes the process smooth and efficient for everyone on staff.

The only issue we've had is that the Amazon purchase feature will sometimes not process our orders if we take longer than 3-5 days to fully approve a PO. It makes it even more challenging to fully approve PO's on time since our PO's require three signatures (the purchaser, the supervisor, then the Director of Finance). If the purchaser creates an Amazon order on a Friday, the PO may not be fully approved until Monday if the supervisor signs it on time. Also, if a supervisor or the Director of Finance in on vacation this pushes the date it's fully approved further out. This hasn't happened often since we know about this hiccup and we understand it's more of an Amazon error than Spendwise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What we value most about Spendwise is its ability to bring structure, transparency, and accountability to our procurement process. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we operate in a complex regulatory environment, and Spendwise provides a centralized platform that makes purchasing easy, reduces duplicate vendor payments, and strengthen transparency and oversight across departments. The team at Spendwise has been amazing at assisting us with rollout and continued support, and I cannot say enough great things about Ryan and his team. The only downside I have is with the rollout of any SaaS and the difficult adoption all organizations may face. The most important feature for me is being able to filter by vendor, by date, and by open status. That’s easily the best part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I don’t like is that the total amount isn’t shown. For a particular vendor, I want to be able to see how much I’ve spent overall, but the total isn’t displayed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The level of organization that Spendwise has provided our inventory is immense. We have seamlessly adapted to constantly going back and forth to Spendwise whenever we have a discrepancy with our deliveries or simply to check in on when we placed a particular order so we can then track it. For what our inventory uses it for, Spendwise has little to no issues for us. Every once in a while, a product we have in the system does not come up unless we have added the product name to our description or the name/number section but we are usually able to catch this and over inform the item's detailing. Staff based at different locations can log-on, create a PO and get it approved seamlessly. We have used Spendwise exclusively for nearly 10-years and have found it to be super user friendly and easy to bring new employees up to speed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We looked for a easy to use solution for purchasing. We are a smaller construction company and found Spendwise to be priced decently and very easy to use. The set-up process went very smoothly and anytime I have had questions I received a response quicker than I expected. Only a couple of minor things that cause some strife. I wish we could manually add a tax amount and not rely on using percentages. Taxes get complicated and sometimes are not a simple percentage amount. Then the only other negative comment is when you send a purchase order via the email feature and send it to multiple people they do not know you sent it to others. Would be great if these features / functionalities could be added:

1) Repository for vendor credit notes. When processing a bill, the system reminds the user if there's any credit with this vendor. After billing, the system updates the credit balance (if any)

2) Batch processing of purchase orders. User uploads a .csv file with all necessary PO information and the system generates POs accordingly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Spendwise is extremely user friendly and easy to use. It has completely streamlined the purchasing process of our company and eliminated unnecessary communication and hassle.
