How much does SoftLedger cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, SoftLedger pricing in 2026 starts at $300.00 and can reach $1,125.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the SoftLedger's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is SoftLedger pricing best suited for?

SoftLedger's pricing is best suited for small businesses and mid-market firms in finance-intensive industries. G2 reviewers span investment management, financial services, banking, real estate, and crypto-adjacent sectors like gambling and computer games. Small-business reviewers consistently praise SoftLedger for handling multi-entity consolidation and multi-currency accounting at a scale that legacy tools cannot match affordably. Mid-market reviewers highlight crypto module depth, API integration, and consolidated financial reporting as key drivers. The custom-quote pricing model makes SoftLedger particularly well-matched to organizations with complex entity structures, cross-border operations, or digital asset accounting needs rather than single-entity businesses seeking off-the-shelf simplicity.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of SoftLedger?

According to G2's pricing data for SoftLedger, no free tier or publicly listed paid tiers exist. SoftLedger's pricing is structured around custom quotes, meaning there is no standard entry-level plan to compare against higher tiers. G2 reviewers do not reference a free version or trial period. Prospective buyers must engage SoftLedger directly to receive pricing tailored to their entity count, feature requirements, and scale. This custom-quote model means SoftLedger's pricing is negotiated rather than self-serve, which G2 reviewers in financial services and investment management appear to accept given the platform's specialized multi-entity and crypto accounting capabilities.

Is SoftLedger considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly regard SoftLedger as strong value, particularly for organizations managing multi-entity structures, multi-currency books, and crypto accounting. One mid-market reviewer explicitly noted it solves multi-currency consolidation without an overly expensive or complicated solution, and a small-business reviewer in financial services called it absolutely affordable. High ratings dominate the review set, with most reviewers citing responsive live support, fast implementation, and API-first architecture as features that justify the cost. One mid-market accounting reviewer flagged SoftLedger's rates as comparatively high versus peers, the only notable pricing concern across the dataset, suggesting premium positioning rather than broad affordability concerns.

"Smooth Interface and Powerful Crypto Module Enhance Efficiency"
4/5
What do you like best about SoftLedger?

The interfaces and basic functions are extremely smooth and facilitate efficient and accurate processing. The crypto module is an essential feature for us that works well and feeds cleanly into our ledger. The ability to drill down to source records from the Reporting, Finance, AP and AR module is better than in any other system that I have used. SoftLedger also handles accounting across a group that uses many currencies with a very logical and easy to follow flow. Lastly, we really value the support we have received, either when implementing the system or when searching for advice regarding the most effective way to align our processes to SoftLedger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SoftLedger?

I would welcome more flexibility to create our own reports and a clearer view of unreconciled items through the Banking screens Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Travis Lander of SoftLedger

Thank you for this review, Matt. We appreciate your time and commitment to SoftLedger.

For unreconciled banking items, be sure to set a default filter for your tables in the Bank Transactions and Bank Statements Reconciliation view to only display journal lines that are not reconciled. This should save you time in dropping into those tables and only seeing the unreconciled journal lines/bank transactions that need your review.

For customized reporting, it can be best to create a custom analytics report through our in app business intelligence tool for any management reporting that might fall outside of the more traditional reports. Let's walk through setting one of those up together.

Thank you again!
