"Socrata is a solid centralized repository for online open data"

What do you like best about Tyler Data & Insights?

My favorite part of working with the tool was that it was easy to discover various datasets. I also worked with Socrata specifically thru the online portal at datasf.org, where they had powered access to economic, community and geographic boundary datasets. What do you dislike about Tyler Data & Insights?

I did not use Socrata to its full extent so a lot of my interaction with it was manual, rather than being involved as an API developer. Sometimes the Socrata platform would take a significantly long time to load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tyler Data & Insights solving and how is that benefiting you?

Socrata helped centralize some of the important citywide data needed for rigorous analysis while working at LotaData. This helped us gain insights into cities which we could translate to the end user of our city intelligence platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Aside from a very familiar interface with fillers/sorts, I enjoy exploring all the visualization options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tyler Data & Insights?

Load times - but the solution is the the problem -so much data in our datasets it would impossible to speed it up as is, but all things considered, it loads 'good' Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
