I also worked with Socrata specifically thru the online portal at datasf.org, where they had powered access to economic, community and geographic boundary datasets. **What do you dislike about Tyler Data & Insights?** I did not use Socrata to its full extent so a lot of my interaction with it was manual, rather than being involved as an API developer. Sometimes the Socrata platform would take a significantly long time to load. **Recommendations to others considering Tyler Data & Insights:** As a data scientist, you're continually looking for good data and good ways to access this data. **What problems is Tyler Data & Insights solving and how is that benefiting you?** Socrata helped centralize some of the important citywide data needed for rigorous analysis while working at LotaData. This helped us gain insights into cities which we could translate to the end user of our city intelligence platform. ### 2.
