**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

I love the interoffice communication between hourly employees. This greatly reduces the use of text messages.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

Very glitchy, and most frustratingly, the software doesn't flag meal breaks and other California Labor practice issues in the "Timecard" function. Even the current compliance settings do not reflect correctly, which means a manual process approving timecards daily.

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None so far. Just the promise to rectify the timecard issues

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

Scheduling works flawlessly, we were able to do sub schedules under a department which helps keep things manageable. 
The timeclock feature has everything you would expect from an expensive solution at a fraction of the cost. 
They have stellar support and really go the distance to make sure you are handled. Chat has always been available when I have needed it.
Good documentation.

The ability to use it for multiple locations and even differing organizations is nice, I can toggle back and forth between locations and companies with ease. (LOVE THIS)

Clock out questions are a newer and very helpful feature.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

I really don't have anything bad to say!

**Recommendations to others considering SocialSchedules:**

Give it a try! Don't let the affordable price deter you, it is a great solution. I have rarely found a company so willing to listen to their customers needs and follow up with implemented changes.

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have recommended this product to many clients, most are using a very dated system or no system at all.

Many benefits not limited to the following:
-Allowing staff to access schedules, make shift requests and communicate via chat has allowed replacing multiple systems with one.
-Timeclock has customizable geofencing feature to allow staff clock in on mobile devices as well as kiosks
-California compliance can be tricky, Opensimsim takes a lot of the stress out of that by staying on top of the ever-changing rules. 
-Break reminders and OT warnings help us keep labor costs down.  
-Integrates with ADP  (and other payroll systems)

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

Ease of use is amazing, schedule templates. It makes it easy for those that manage payroll, to see their employees schedules, see the changes that have been made, and just see who is working and when. Color-coded systems for ease of reading, and management can access their schedules no matter where they are on any given device. During a work from home situation, this has been priceless to our company.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

There is nothing I dislike, the program is flawless.

**Recommendations to others considering SocialSchedules:**

At least try it, but if you need a cloud based scheduling software, these are the guys to use.

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Schedule accuracy and uniformity across the company. It makes managing 90+ employees much easier than we could have imagined.

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

Open Sim provides excellent Data Analytics so we can properly manage our labor in Real Time! The seamless integration with our POS provider allows us to see the MOST CRITICAL COMPONENT of scheduling: Our ACTUAL Labor vs Sales reporting. It updates live, in the moment, and keeps you in the loop. 

The ability to manage multiple units at one time has become easier using Open Sim Sim's system. Well thought out, simple to use, and self explanatory.

If I had to PICK 1 component that blew me away, it would be the certification tracker that they have to track trainings, position based certifications, food handler certifications, etc. etc.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

No system is perfect. If reviews or salesmen claim a company "has solved the worlds problems" with their perfect solution, my recommendation would be to run as far and as fast from that company as possible.

Anything that I had an issue with, or was "momentarily buggy", they would fix super quick! 

It's not about what a company is doing today, it is about their leadership, and the Culture of the teams character that separates the great companies from the rest!

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solved the issue we had with ACCURATE Real Time reporting. We have been successfully able to manage our Labor and Attendance so much better that we had 2 of our most profitable accounting periods, the first 2 months we were on the OpenSimSim system. Coincidence? I think not!

Intuitive for employees to find shift coverage for themselves.  Easy to set up and replicate weekly schedules.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

We didn't use a lot of the features, so I can only speak to the scheduling function and app

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping the employees responsible for their shifts and supplying them with the tools to find coverage without involving management is very important to us

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

Customer service is the best part of using OpenSimSim. We are a small Safety/EMT department of twenty-five. I worked hand in hand with OpenSimSim's customer service for an hour to figure out an issue we were having, and they fixed it. This was when we were still using the free version, and they did not ask for any compensation. If you are on the fence, give OpenSimSim a try. We recently upgraded, so all departments are under one company now. Using OpenSimSim has been a great addition to communications throughout all departments.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

The only negative is sometimes the app is a little slow. This also could be my internet connection.

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the problems that have been solved is the amount of time the program has saved us.  Now all team members are on the same page.

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

For an program that offers so many features, I am stoked with the usability and ease at which I am able to dissect and analyse so many aspects of my business. Aside from the obvious scheduling features, I am able to break down my real-time labour costs and stay on top of wages. In-group messaging has created a more streamlined process when navigating shift-changes and opportunities.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

At this stage, I haven't found anything that I can fault. OpenSimSim's customer service has been exceptional and any minor issues or difficulties I have encountered have been dealt with in a professional and timely manner.

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OpenSimSim has enabled me to accurately analyse my labor costs which are crucial to my business. The detail to which this can be done has had a significant impact on my business already.

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

We stumbled upon OpenSimSim through a search and thankfully, we gave it a try. We have been using OpenSimSim for the last 7 months and for our specific purpose, IT IS GREAT. I work in Operations for a medium-size health system, we were trying to bring our on-call maintenance schedules (10 hospitals) together so that our third-party answering service could have a one-stop-shop for all on-call schedules. All of the hospital schedulers had to be trained, which took 10-15 minutes each, but there have been no issues so far. 

Grateful to have another great partner in OpenSimSim, they have been great to work with.

I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Nothing so far, they have been responsive to everything I have needed.

Our process has been made much easier with OpenSimSim and honestly, everyone likes it.

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

Verifying shifts worked instantly using the smart phone app.  Employees are able to manage their time by requesting time off or swapping shifts or offering shifts.  Links to sales to help with labor costs.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

Some of the terminology doesn't make sense to me but I'm over it.

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tightening sloppy clock in and out procedures.

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

I like the interface is easy to use and very simple, with a clean and aesthetic appearance, and more importantly: it works perfect.
Excellent mobile application.
Full functions in the mobile application and the computer system, great functionality.
Excellent for organizing and exchanging shifts, messaging communication between staff for a better response, within the company or during a trip.
Same cloud for employees, managers and administrators, the best idea.
Administrators have the possibility to create programming templates for each week.

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

Very few cons, there are still many things to improve but there are many constant updates that improve every aspect as time goes by.

**Recommendations to others considering SocialSchedules:**

Delighted, I particularly recommend it. We have had an excellent experience.
Technical support and help is a fantastic thing!
We have been able to reduce hours of manual work and manual spreadsheets of the time sheets.

The ease of use is an incredible gain, it has many features that are excellent, optimize the process and save a lot of time-
We found a great tool in the messaging system.
My staff is delighted, the communication has been strengthened and has improved 100%

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

We are a small company but spread out across the US. This has helped us to have all schedules in one easy to use location for our management and support team to communicate with our field employees. Also, our employees like the more organized communication of the schedule and changes. Our field team find that is also easier to communicate to the support team through the app messaging. 

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

It was a little confusing at first to set up for our company. But, now we are all on the right track.

It's a free scheduling software with functionalities at par with paid ones. It can help you build schedule in a short period with ease. Supports both web and mobile use. Features include and not limited to employee scheduling, team communication, time tracking, etc. Lastly, such a beautiful and appealing interface

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

No dislikes regarding my use of opensimsim. It made my work a lot easier

Opensimsim is a free tool that possesses functionalities at par with paid ones. It can help you build schedule in a short period with ease. Try it ASAP if in need of a better employee schedule scheme

Our scheduling operations for staffs shifting was on the brim of collapsing until we lay our hands on Opensimsim. It did really well for our employee scheduling scheme and brought it back to existence in a good condition

**What do you like best about SocialSchedules?**

This app is easy to use and navigate. I feel that I can get communication from our GM and Mangers easily, communicate with other servers and staff with ease, and also understand my schedule easily too. 

**What do you dislike about SocialSchedules?**

I wish I could drop or swap shifts when outside of their "listed availability" with other people without needing to have a manager assist. This has been troublesome. Also, an in-app contact list with phone and email would be nice to have as well.

**Recommendations to others considering SocialSchedules:**

This is a great tool! even with some of the drawbacks it is a great option for anyone needing to manage schedules within their team. 

**What problems is SocialSchedules solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has made scheduling super easy to see and understand. I have enjoyed how easy it has become with changing shifts and communicating to supervisors/managers requested change

Very easy to set up, easy schedule viewing, as well as messaging and scheduling

Needs to show available phone numbers for workers who need to cover a shift so that management doesn't have to

Communication is better, memos to staff is easier, and sending messages to management is easier
