I like the site. I had no training and was able to pick up easily and navigate the system. **What problems is SmarterSelect solving and how is that benefiting you?** It provides the portal for all the applicants information and easily allows for the download to review and process. **Official Response from James Bogroff:** > Wow! We were able to create a pre-screening questionnaire for our volunteer application. A potential applicant would have to pass the pre-screening to be able to proceed to the actual application. It has drastically reduced the number of 'casual' applicants and has only led to less wasted time on our part, narrowing it down to those who are serious about serving our patients. We ALSO added references as a required part of the application. This reduces the time we spend on the phone tracking down references and writing them. **What do you dislike about SmarterSelect?** The user interface feels very slow and clumsy. It's not super intuitive. For example, when creating a request form, I assume I can edit by clicking on what I see, but to be able to edit a section, I first have to click on the sections on the right side, and that doesn't seem very intuitive. Sometimes it's difficult to navigate and it could use more sorting options. **Recommendations to others considering SmarterSelect:** It's worth trying this application for applicants, it's something new and innovative, it will surely go far with the features it has. **What problems is SmarterSelect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I would also like us to be able to create our own statuses that would allow us to make a specific automatic scoring. For example, one of the things we must do is ensure that the applicants have sent the correct attachments. ### 4. It also allows for our scoring to be automated ### 5. The customer service is amazing as they have a live chat on their website for support. **What do you dislike about SmarterSelect?** The wait time for a new page to load is a little too long. Also running customized reports is sometimes difficult. **What problems is SmarterSelect solving and how is that benefiting you?** The application design is easy, functional and priced accordingly. Its very user friendly and for those who are not tech savy will have an easy learning curve. It has helped us reduce manual paperwork. ### 6.
