Skai’s main drawback for us is that, beyond search/social, the retail-media coverage feels uneven: data can lag, feature parity varies by retailer (notably around Amazon DSP and newer formats), and some automations are a bit of a black box. The UI is powerful but heavy to configure—budget groups, reporting and rules need careful setup to avoid noisy alerts or duplicated logic. And because cross-channel views lean on platform-reported metrics, proving incrementality and reallocating spend with confidence still requires offline analysis, which slows decision-making. Skai has simplified our budget management workflows almost to the point of 'set and forget' on all but the most complex accounts. The learning curve for certain modules and ease of migration of existing framework implementation. E.g. I'm a GAds script heavy user and while the bulk translate well to Skai's "Filtered View + Action" automation model, i just need more time to create all said views and actions. This ultimately boils down to me not dedicating more time to making the most of what Skai offers. A Skai View Library or even user marketplace would be awesome. It allows for the integration of all advertising activity data across retail, social and search channels, in order to manage spend more efficiently. Its ability to create automatic rules to optimise results, perform audits, configure highly visual dashboards for tracking, etc. Especially for Amazon campaigns, it allows us to view and report all historical data from the campaign view, and optimise between different accounts with the same objective, unlike the AMS platform itself. In addition, their accounts are super, they support us to facilitates the resolution of doubts with the interface to improve our management and results of our activity. AMS's own tool does not allow us to have a history of more than 60 days in the campaign view, nor download grouped reports from different accounts or types of campaigns, nor apply bidding strategies to a specific conversion target (CPA or ROAS), and Skai gives us the solution by allowing us to integrate and optimise all the data from a single tool. My team has always found the inability to save lookback comparisons limiting. Being unable to save these settings means we need to reconfigure our lookback comparison whenever an analysis begins.
