**What do you like best about Simulink Real-Time?**

The best thing about Simulink Real-Time is its ability to let me tune parameters and monitor system behavior while the model is running on real hardware. It also automatically generates code from the pre-defined Simulink models.

**What do you dislike about Simulink Real-Time?**

Sometimes the software buffers and takes a long time to load. A running process may stop in between, and we have to restart it. Although, it happens less frequently.

**What problems is Simulink Real-Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simulink Real-Time is mainly solving the problem of testing control systems and algorithms in a real-time environment. Normally, simulations in Simulink give us theoretical results, but they don’t always show how a system will behave with actual hardware timing, delays, and real-world signals. For me as an electronics engineering student, this is very beneficial because I have certain projects where I need to test control algorithms and verify their performance on real hardware. I can experiment with hardware-in-the-loop setups with this.

**What do you like best about Simulink Real-Time?**

Simulink real-time is very useful for rapid hardware prototyping.
Especially with link-up with various hardware platforms like SpeedGoat, OPAL-RT, DSpace as well as low-cost hardware DSPs like C2000 processors from TI.

**What do you dislike about Simulink Real-Time?**

The only thing I want to improve in MATLAB Simulink Real-Time is the step-size support for lower discrete times for better processing of high-frequency systems.

**What problems is Simulink Real-Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am verifying BMS systems and motor control protocols with it.
Configuring battery fault and test simulations in a simulation environment before deployment on hardware makes the task safer and time-efficient without harming the system.
