Would love to be able to have customers accept quotes digitally and this link into Simpro, rather than currently where they accept via email and we have to manually convert jobs ourselves.

Some basic elements are very rigid, and SimPro refuses to change them. Support and helpdesk don't take the time to understand your problem before sending back a response

For us, it is keeping track of variations and supplier and labour costs on our complex projects. Every cost we incur is now assigned to the correct cost center, so we have a real-time understanding of which areas of the business are profitable and which we need to work on

I like that this software incorporates the service and construction sides of our business.

When we create a bid we add the materials cost in, and then when tech goes out and purchases supplies it adds to the material cost we already versus counting against it.

It is a process, but one that is worth it. The staff flew out and trained our office for 2-3 days. These were full day training sessions. They also trained our field staff for an afternoon one of those days. But once you get it going, it simplifies sooo much for your business!

simPRO got BI report function that helps me build up the report that I want. But some of the tables are still un-available in BI report

simPRO does not have the one-screen to display all the costs in detail such as vendor, material, labour hour ect.

Slightly clunky in some parts. Eg; overhead rate needs to be applied to each employee card file in order to apply when completing timesheets.

Why does this not apply from the back set up screen in labour rates?!

Love the ease and use of it's quoting capabilities and CRM, as well as it's seamless integration with Xero.

Customer support is not always very helpful. Reporting can be improved.
