"Great customizable service software!"

What do you like best about Simpro?

You can customize a ton of information regarding your customers and job sites. There are a ton of add-ons and being able to talk to Quickbooks is a must!

What do you dislike about Simpro?

The few downsides are being limited to what technicians can see in the field on the application itself. Also, some areas are limited to being able to see things at a glance.

What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Submit an Idea portal is a great asset for giving ideas on how the software can be improved and knowing what is being worked on. It has helped us maintain our customer base and increase productivity by not running around in circles and constantly inputting the same information over and over again.

"An awesom system that keeps getting better"

What do you like best about Simpro?

Ease of use.

Support whenever required.

The system has made running our business easy with the ability to instantly keep track on progress of jobs, schedule staff. And invoice clients with confidence that we have captured all the costs accurately.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

We don't have much to complain about with Simpro. Some of the bolt on features such as EForms & SimTrac need to keep pace with developments as Simpro grows & improves the bolt ons need to keep up.

What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to easily keep track of inventory & billable hours.

Our staff are able to review upcoming works with all the attached details to help the jobs run smoothly.

What do you like best about Simpro?

Simpro takes the guesswork out of what you've spent, the hours you've worked and job progress. It lets you take action if necessary before its too late.

What do you like best about Simpro?

Connecting information and allowing us to have separate areas of business which we can combine when needed.

"New simPRO User"

What do you like best about Simpro?

Very fluid flow from creating a customer through to invoicing the job. Being able to customise fields for customer assets and attach engineer site photos to the projects has been a great help to us. Hav come from 12 years on a different CRM system and it's worlds apart

What do you dislike about Simpro?

No major downsides we have come across as yet. Still learning some of the more in depth aspects of it so will find more in the future. Importing catalogues can be a little bit clunky but this is mainly down to it being a new process for us. Once they are set up it's a huge timesaver for us

What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Speed of producing accurate quotes, split into appropriate cost centres and in a neat and customised format. Being able to send straight from simPRO is very helpful and saves so much time.

Cost tracking is also very good and breaks everything down into manageable pieces

Everything is traceable - from the beginning of a job to it fruition.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

Very click heavy - but this is expected when the system encompasses all aspects of a business.

What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are currently looking into the asset management side of things, so that should help in service jobs.

"Simpro is a comprehensive program that encompasses all facets of job management"

What do you like best about Simpro?

The Simpro support and services are fantastic; they are always prompt to respond via email and are also very helpful over the phone. The software itself is comprehensive and includes all facets of job management making it easy to keep on track of leads, quotes, jobs and invoicing. It integrates seamlessly with other programs and suppliers also which is a huge time saver!

What do you dislike about Simpro?

It can be slightly cumbersome to use initially as there are so many options and areas which need to be prefilled correctly for it to work effectively, but after the initial learning curve, it is a very useful tool.

What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simpro enhanced our ability to actively manage all client requirements and staff. Additionally, the reporting functionality exceeds that of other job management platforms which means we have a clearer understanding of our business position.

"Simpro has improved our stock tracking, job tracking and quoting experience"

What do you like best about Simpro?

Simpro has easy to navigate and well laid out menu's. Software is modern. I like the ease of putting costs together when quoting as it is simply a few clicks and you have the parts/labour in the job and can update prices easily. Breakdown of quotes and jobs into cost centres makes it easier to determine where the costs are and makes it easier for other staff to understand how costs and labour are broken down. Duplicating quotes and jobs is helpful and time saving. Stock tracking is good compared to our seemingly non-existent previous system, makes it easier to locate items in the factory.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

Search function can be a bit difficult to use at times. If the item you are searching for is not input in the correct order then it won't return a result. EG if I an item is on our system as '50mm copper bend' and I search 'copper bend 50mm' then the system will not find it. Some form generation can also be a bit more time consuming than required to correct. If I have multiple cost centres for instance with a description on the main summary screen then the quote for instance will generate the pricing breakdown for each cost centre with the main summary description repeated for each cost centre.

What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our stock was difficult to track and find in our factory before Simpro. Our method of doing this was inaccurate as we didn't have everything listed and locations logged. Simpro allows us to easily input locations, view stock levels and see if we have the item on order quite easily. We are now able to keep on top of our stock levels, see where stock is being allocated to and find it in the factory more quickly.

"Very good, it's a complex set up so the 3 day training helps, support is great and feature packed"

What do you like best about Simpro?

Once the initial set-up is done to add catalogues and pre-build custom prices for jobs it makes the job of quoting much easier and the customer gets a much better in-depth quote. Once we start using it for jobs too it will help us to track the products we need for jobs.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

It is complex so takes quite a bit of work to get started. Had a couple of problems at the start but support has been very helpful. Doesn't quite take over from a CRM. We didn't use a lot of the functionality of the CRM so this didn't matter. I would guess if you was using the CRM heavily then you might need to have the two systems.

What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helps to make quoting easier. Job management will be a lot better and the ability to track stock. leads are all pulled in from our webform so we've scrapped zoho crm - we had issues with the support from zoho.

"Intensive Job Management System"

What do you like best about Simpro?

Simpro is a great program to use for service-based work. The use of a phone app for our Technicians makes it easy for them to know what sites they need to go to and the work they need to complete. It is also convenient being able to store all past work history, including past invoices, site photos, job notes etc. Overall, a wonderful program.

What do you dislike about Simpro?

It is sometimes challenging to maximize every feature of Simpro as it is a very comprehensive software. Setting up some of the features can require a fair portion of time and trial and error to get them up and running.

Recommendations to others considering Simpro:

Definitely worth the effort!

What problems is Simpro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Simpro solves poor communication lines with our service technicians and allows jobs to be turned into Invoices very quickly.

It is easy to create reports to find out the value of each of our customers. It is also very straightforward to look up Supplier Purchase orders and to cross-check these.
