Recently upgraded to SignUp. **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Yolanda B. | Circulation Assistant, Libraries, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018 **What do you like best about SignUp?** I like that the interface of SignUp is much more user-friendly than its predecessor. **What do you dislike about SignUp?** I dislike that there's so many buttons on the sidebar, if I am talking to a patron, it can feel overwhelming to want to provide good customer service, while also getting a bit lost in all of the buttons. It takes me longer than I'd like to get to whee I am going/feel comfortable. **What problems is SignUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** The business problems that SignUp solve are innumerable. Public libraries present many events to the public, and sign up allows us to sign patrons up easily, and an easy way for them to do so themselves. This is also a great benefit! ### 2. Best Option with Room to Improve **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Libraries | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2018 **What do you like best about SignUp?** SignUp allows users to reserve spaces conveniently, allowing for multiple users to access a calendar. There are multiple ways of displaying reservations, and the options for creating events are useful and logical. **What do you dislike about SignUp?** Though there are multiple ways of displaying information, there is no option to search by space when that is a greater priority than the date/time. Often when reserving spaces months in advance, the user will be more adamant about having enough room for their group. **Recommendations to others considering SignUp:** Consider whether the product's inability to sort by space will be a deal-breaker. Otherwise, this should meet scheduling needs. The set-up is very easy, training people on use is easy/intuitive, and there are few quirks that can alter the consistency of the public calendar (e.g. users might confuse or fail to use the "event type" and "age group" features, which affect the way filters on the public calendar work). Depending on your company, there may be less expensive/free software that can meet your needs, but this is worth it for our setting. **What problems is SignUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trying to schedule room usage without this software would be next-to-impossible for our library. The calendar makes navigating room bookings easy and helps ensure that no space will be double-booked. ### 3. It is very easy to use and simple to understand. **What do you dislike about SignUp?** Not a lot of people know & use this one. **Recommendations to others considering SignUp:** It's good to give this one a try. **What problems is SignUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a very easy tool to solve simple project with Signup.
