What do you dislike about Signal AI? Not being able to sort coverage by writer, would be great to have more insights into attribution between media coverage and website traffic. Media monitoring software has always been a mixed bag and companies like Signal AI are helping by making it easier to search through all the noise to find the relevant coverage. Many require crazy long Boolean strings to figure out the difference between Apple the company and Apple the fruit, but Signal AI trains their AI to figure out the context to make it easier to eliminate the chaff. We use Signal AI to sort our coverage, compare against the competition, compare total coverage vs. coverage in our priority media, track the type of coverage and also to look for whitespace opportunities we can leverage for PR. Firstly, it enables me to quickly find our media coverage without having to trail through every financial media publication and find articles one at a time. Secondly, the team is helping me to build a dashboard with insights that enable me to quickly pull together a media monitoring report that analyses media coverage across our firm and against industry peers. (always worked at businesses with strange names, and other providers that don't recognise your company as an entity pull through a lot of irrelevant stuff) - Dashboards and graphs are pretty good quality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Mostly the things I'd like to see Signal change are the little extras (ie. you can change the colours of you/your competitors on the graphs in dashboards) and shareability. I find the reporting format (email of coverage achieved) tired and very old school corporate, I would like to instead see online shareable dashboards that are more interactive for internal stakeholders to view. You can download the graphs from dashboards to put in your own stuff but it sadly is quite manual and if the colours are wrong, it isn't something you'd show to clients/bosses anyway.
