Signal is very quick when it comes to pulling broadcast mentions and press coverage. The broadcast clip editor is also extremely helpful - as is the new dashboard feature to view share of voice. It would be helpful if paid TV and radio ads could be more easily filtered out from the platform as this can artificially inflate coverage figures and share of voice! Signal AI keeps you on the pulse of everything happening to your brand in published media. It has enabled us to track our success and set goals in a totally new way that we couldn't have without it. Signal AI is incredible at media monitoring, but it's not really a replacement for other PR/comms software that you might need. Mainly, it lacks any outreach capabilities. Others have outreach capabilities and a lot more functions but their media monitoring capabilities pale in comparison to Signal AI. It's not really a fair comparison. I like that searches and dashboards are easily organizable in folders. I use Signal every day or every other day and I've picked it up in a decent amount of time. I think sometimes Signal is glitchy and slow. It's hard to move searches into other folders and annoying that when you click a link to a search, it doesn't automatically highlight which search it is on the left. It's nice that metrics can be easily displayed in charts and graphs. It helps me in the way that I can easily export searches to see how much coverage something is getting and from which outlets.
