Teams have moved to Shortcut from tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, and Pivotal Tracker, often looking for a simpler, more streamlined way to manage software work. • Expand reporting and analytics, particularly around work completed, team velocity, and time in workflow states.
  • Add more customization for fields, estimates, and prioritization so teams can adapt tracking to their process.
  • Make search, filters, and backlog views easier to navigate and more powerful for finding and organizing work.
  • Provide stronger mobile access, including a dedicated app and convenient notifications.

What do you like best about Shortcut?

Easy to admin and setup, fast and clean UX, excellent APIs, great roadmap capabilities with support for objectives and key results. Great integrations with Github, Figma and more. Their support team is fantastic. It is a tool I use every day and it is a delight with every interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shortcut?

Wish they would release WIP limits. Also they need deeper support for custom fields (e.g. search) and support for additional filters like by state in their backlog view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Shortcut?

Epics, stories, docs, mostly everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shortcut?

Nothing in particular. One minor thing is when more than one user is editing the same docs and when you write a lot of things then it refreshes out of nowhere and I noticed that my updates were not added cause the changes was for the other person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cross-Application Integration, User-Friendly Interface are some of its strong points. Also, its Dashboards are comprehensive and the stats helps better forecast your future goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shortcut?

Learning Curve: While the interface is user-friendly, mastering the full potential of the Shortcut Tool may require some initial learning and experimentation, especially for users new to it. Disappointed with Predefined Templates they provide even if you just view/open the template it gets saved as a new file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Shortcut Docs glitched and lost all my work I had invested over 6h on"
0/5
What do you like best about Shortcut?

Shortcut.com is a project management tool that's easy to use, powerful, and customizable. It integrates with a wide range of popular tools and offers affordable pricing plans, making it a great choice for teams of all sizes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shortcut?

Apparently they ship products that are not production-ready. CMD+Z does not work. No history option available. Talk about a type of error that makes you lose a customer instantly… I will simply never going to use this again over Google Drive, no matter how many updates they ship; it can have AI, type my thoughts automatically, I don’t care. I’d also recommend everyone else refrain from using it, as this is not production-ready clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
