## About SendOps
SendOps gives engineering and platform teams a single management layer for Amazon SES across every account, region, and team. Configure identities, manage suppression, monitor deliverability, automate production access, and govern who can do what — all without giving up control of your AWS account or routing a single email through a third party. Unlike traditional ESPs, SendOps never sends, relays, or proxies your mail. Your AWS account stays yours, SES does what it does best, and SendOps provisions the surrounding infrastructure via CloudFormation while layering on the operational tooling SES itself doesn't ship with.

**What do you like best about SendOps?**

The flat pricing is what sold me. One monthly fee, SES handles delivery at cost, and the bill doesn't budge whether we send 50k emails in a month or a few million. The other thing I didn't expect to like as much: SendOps sits beside SES instead of in the sending path. It manages the setup but never relays the mail itself, so even if SendOps had a bad day, our email would still go out through SES. 

Setup was almost nothing. No SDK, no code changes, the app talks to SES the same way it always did. And marketing and ops now have a dashboard of their own for editing templates, searching messages and keeping an eye on quota, so I've stopped handing out AWS keys every time someone needs to look something up.

**What do you dislike about SendOps?**

Honestly, not much, it does what it says on the tin. If I'm nit-picking, it would be that I couldn't find something in the doc pages (classic new product issue). Even then, support's been quick the couple of times I flagged something, so nothing's really slowed me

**What problems is SendOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Two things, mainly. 

The first is cost. With most email tools the bill climbs the more you send, so every good month came with a small wince. SendOps is a flat fee and lets SES do the actual sending at cost, so we can send a lot more and the bill barely moves. 

The other thing is people. SES on its own is awkward to let the rest of the team near, and honestly I didn't have great visibility into bounces or quota myself either. Now marketing can edit their own templates and ops can search messages and keep an eye on quota without an AWS login between them, so they get on with it instead of waiting on me. I spend a lot less time parked in the AWS console!

**What do you like best about SendOps?**

SendOps simplifies many of the operational headaches that come with scaling email, while keeping lower costs and still maintaining visibility into email performance and reliability.

**What do you dislike about SendOps?**

One thing to note is that SendOps isn't an all-in-one marketing automation platform packed with campaign builders and other unrelated extras. It is focused on allowing teams to run a reliable, yet scalable email program.

**What problems is SendOps solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to scale our email program without adding additional costs or additional infrastructure that I would need an engineering team to support.
