**Describe the project or task SearchBlox helped with:**

Searchblox replaced our old google appliance indexing our main website, as well as multiple ancillary sites as well. It offers key match, javascript render and personalized recommendations.  It's a great drop in replacement.

**What do you like best about SearchBlox?**

The ease of configuration and setup.  The willingness of the searchblox support team to work with you when transitioning servers, etc.

**What do you dislike about SearchBlox?**

Searchblox help is not the best.  Most of the issues that I have encountered, and forwarded to Searchblox were never resolved by them.  Either I figured out the issue myself, or I wound up reinstalling the software.  -- in one case, the problem was that I was not logged in with the admin user.

**Recommendations to others considering SearchBlox:**

The system runs on a jetty based web server, so adding in CSP based items can be a bit of a challenge if you are not familiar with the java based webserver.

**What problems is SearchBlox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Indexing our collection of websites into a coherent single pane response to search to provide necessary information to prospectives, students, faculty and staff.
