# What is the best employee engagement software?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hello G2 users, the best employee engagement software is something I’ve been exploring recently as our team has been putting more thought into how we keep people connected and involved as we grow.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">We already do a few things like team check-ins, recognition shoutouts, and occasional surveys, and they’ve been helpful. But now we’re at a stage where we’re wondering if there’s a better way to bring all of this into one place so engagement feels more consistent and visible across the team, not just dependent on individual managers or channels.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">So I started looking into tools in the<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/employee-engagement"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/employee-engagement">employee engagement software category</a> to see what teams are actually using to make engagement feel more natural and ongoing, not forced.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">A few tools that stood out while I was browsing:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/workvivo/reviews"><strong>Workvivo</strong></a>: Feels like a mix of internal communication and engagement in one place. I can see how this might help teams stay more connected, especially across locations.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/bonusly-bonusly/reviews"><strong>Bonusly</strong></a>: Very focused on peer recognition. It looks simple enough that people might actually use it regularly without much prompting.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/vantage-circle/reviews"><strong>Vantage Circle</strong></a>: Combines rewards, recognition, and some wellness elements. Seems like a broader approach to engagement rather than just one aspect.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/connecteam/reviews"><strong>Connecteam</strong></a>: Looks especially useful for teams that aren’t always at a desk. It brings communication and engagement into a single app.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/workhuman-social-recognition/reviews"><strong>Workhuman Social Recognition</strong></a>: More structured around recognition programs. I’m curious how teams keep it feeling natural rather than too formal.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/culture-cloud-by-o-c-tanner/reviews"><strong>Culture Cloud by O.C. Tanner</strong></a>: Seems designed for companies that want to build a strong culture at scale with more structured initiatives.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">What I’m trying to get a better sense of is how these tools actually fit into everyday work.</p><ul>
<li>Which one felt easiest for your team to adopt without a lot of push?</li>
<li>Did it naturally become part of how people communicate or recognize each other?</li>
<li>Is there one tool you’d recommend if the goal is to keep engagement simple but consistent?</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Would love to hear what’s working well for your teams.</p>
