I wish Scribe would capture a full video instead of turning it into a slideshow. I’d also like to add additional click points in one screenshot. Scribe automatically captures each step with screenshots, so documenting [process name] went from taking an hour to taking minutes—and people actually read it. The drag-and-drop editor is what I use most: when a system changes, I can reorder or swap a step in seconds instead of re-recording the entire guide. Capture itself is fast and the extension stays out of the way; the only slowdown I notice is with very long guides, which can take a moment to load.

Embedding guides where people already work matters more than I expected. We drop them into [Slack / SharePoint / Notion] and they render inline, so nobody has to leave what they’re doing to go hunt down a process. Onboarding was quick—I had my first usable guide out the same day, without training—and support has been [responsive when I've needed it].

The AI features are a mixed bag. Generating a guide from a written prompt gives you a clean-looking skeleton, but the steps read as generic and didn’t match how our systems actually work, so I still start from a real capture. The auto-written step text from a capture is genuinely useful, though—it’s usually close enough that I can keep it with only minor tweaks.

Grouping related guides into a workflow means a new hire can follow a process end to end instead of hunting through scattered documents. The unexpected benefit is that I send a link now instead of scheduling a call, and the questions that used to come back every few weeks don’t.
