the web-based nature is prone to data loss in case of internet problems, which can result in a waste of time and labour. Also using the web-based client can become arduous if the internet connection is poor or slow. Another issue will be security issues. Password usage is always vulnerable and the use of a web-based system is prone to security threats which will not only affect the use of scholarship managers but other web-based services like email and browsers of the clients if the security of the system is compromised. the speed with which applications can be processed will also be dependent on the internet speed. As a user of different web-based application systems myself, this has been one of the major factors that affect applicants, which makes a rather simple job a daunting task.
