What I like best about Saviynt is its ability to bring identity governance, lifecycle management and access controls together in a single platform. One area where I believe Saviynt could continue to evolve is support for organisations with complex identity relationships, such as universities. In our environment, individuals can hold multiple concurrent affiliations and responsibilities, for example being both a member of staff and a student at the same time, or having multiple organisational roles. Managing these scenarios can be challenging, and I would welcome stronger support for a single identity model that can accommodate multiple personas, affiliations and role assignments simultaneously. Saviynt require you go via an implementation partner rather than working directly with them, which can create a triangle of blame-shifting and obfuscation. Closed source and SaaS, so difficult to self-manage if you're used to an on-premise mentality. Configuration and UI is clunky via e.g. pasting blocks of JSON into tiny text areas on lengthy web forms. Writing your own automated tests against your own environment configuration is not supported, due to the "no-code" approach. The accessibility of web interfaces is generally below industry standards. No low-level access as with most SaaS products, and you can't delete data or configuration yourself you must raise a ticket which can take time to process. This makes experimentation difficult. Saviynt have gone all-in on AI, as a response to the general use of AI across the industry, but also as a shortcut method of making their system (which is naturally complex due to the problem it is trying to solve) "easier" to configure, which may be to the detriment of working to just making their core product easier to use/understand. The SC2 client hides manual networking allow-list config in AWS which must be configured by Saviynt support and is hidden to the end users, which can make initial setup frustrating. As someone who works closely with identity and access management processes, what I like best about Saviynt is its ability to provide a single source of truth for access governance. At times, troubleshooting and configuration can be challenging due to the complexity of the platform. I think Saviynt could really improve if they added an email sent log. It would be helpful to have proof that emails are sent from the system, and a filterable list showing how many emails are sent each day would be great. Saviynt Intelligence & Smart Recommendations: This feature uses a proprietary machine learning algorithm to analyze peer analytics, usage patterns, and access risks. It successfully filters out elevated or high-risk access to prevent "rubber-stamping" during access certifications and offers precise, dynamic role generation. Saviynt EIC has a clean and modern interface that is easy to use, even for people who are not very technical. It is flexible and customizable, which makes it simple to add new applications and systems. The biggest challenge is with customer support. Answers often take too long to arrive, and when they do, they are sometimes incomplete or unclear. Communication between the support and engineering teams is slow, and the documentation is not always detailed enough, which makes solving issues harder, and some parts of the platform run slower than expected. I think there should be a way Saviynt can allow participants to ask questions after the session through an online forum, since not everything can be covered during the live session. Overall, it was a very enthusiastic session.

When serving snacks, please label the veg and non-veg name plates correctly. This is very important.

There were too many details, and I believe the content could have been split into two sessions.

If the agenda and timeline are shared ahead of the call, it will surely help participants follow along better.

It would also be helpful if the deck or a summary could be shared afterward, because too many topics were covered and the audience may not retain everything to take back, convey to others, or work on later.

I like using UARs, Certification campaigns, and Custom connectors that are available for our enterprise apps with Saviynt. It really helps to schedule our UAR using Manager certification campaigns for Active Directories and using all our enterprise apps in one IGA tool, which makes our admin job easy. I also appreciate that Saviynt fulfilled our need for integrating ServiceNow tickets with access requests inside IGA. I feel available custom connectors are allowing to import users and entitlements to some extent, if you include all other roles and licenses of the applications in available OOTB connectors it will be more useful instead we work in REST API connectors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
