I have used this tool from Sybase PowerDesigner to SAP PowerDesigner for Data Modelling, Data Abstraction Layer code generation using VB scirpt and to design enterprise level middleware component such as com, dcom objects using Visual C++ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's old, and it hasn't been sold in Taiwan this decade (server version). It may be powerful a decade ago. Stuff like reverse engineering on DDL and SQL generations seem too good to be true. Well, it just doesn't support the new technology database. If you ever need to draw DB design diagrams. Perhaps MS Visio or Excel drawing tool is good enough. I create Data flow Models using Power Designer. I like how easy it is to create process flows. the choice of symbols are good. I can create 100's of models at one time. I like how it can save all the models to repository Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is unfortunate that we have to view costs of tools such as these are a negative rather than an important empowerment, but C level executives have balked a the pricing. I have nothing to highlight negatively of this application, it is really very good and it would help me to improve the information in my office and to administer the histories of my patients in the case that it applies to my psychological consultation, at the support level it is well-built, it is of easy comprehension, suddenly in the part of the installation with a little help and I know that the support area will come into play, but it is not something that can not be solved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
