The enhanced experience of navigation and contribution to the EA via browser is very well appreciated in our team. I suggest to take your implementation path step-by-step, with the help of the customer support, for best results. Since it is so deep, you better have a short implementation cycle, targeting at single aspect at each step. The integration is quite simple with Service Now, as the import/export features with excel or databases. Our architecture team use the tool daily for reporting, drawings, and impact analysis. No more explicit mapping for different entites, no more extensive renaming reviews, just a look at Bizzdesign before designing solves it all in the long run. I used it for the first time, and it was soo good that I got my whole team of 50+ developers to use it, and most of us use it everyday. It can be easily integrated into any of our systems, and used thereafter ! Really easy, convenient and a lifesaver for us. **What do you dislike about Bizzdesign Horizzon?** The only thing that can be improved is the loading time between different views, and if possible, can we have the different view load in the same page somehow ? so that we don't have to go back to see the previous one. **What problems is Bizzdesign Horizzon solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a lot of products and teams, most of them centered around the same entity. So what used to happen, each team had its own version of a product, and if it needed to be shared with another team, then we'd have a huge headache of mapping, renaming to bring all of them under the same umbrella. Yes, I have to interact with them very frequently but everytime I get the help on time and on demand as well. For the starters, They have good UI for modelling BPMN level process maps. It's very easy to create the process hierarchy using Archimate, not complicated as we create in ARIS using VACD. The other diagrams showcaing capabilities, applications, data flow, stakeholders are awesome. In short they have good things to display the entire PPDS. Also, the installation is quite easy at the enterprise level, as now-a-days eveyone hosts on cloud, and it's easy to get the connection directly form your enterprise network. **What do you dislike about Bizzdesign Horizzon?** It's a heavy tool, offcourse it has to be due to so many feature they provide, but still I feel the tool is little slow. Even their web-version doesn't work so great. I use i7 machine, but I think I need to either get my system updated in case if I need a faster Bizzdesign. Archimates defined the upper high-level in the right way followed by BPMN process maps exactly matches our needs. Easy to install, easy to give KT and the best part, the web-version is so light in case if anyone doesn't want to install the desktop version. Also, heard that it integrates with lot of tools, will be exploring soon it's integration with ServiceNow. ecisted to see two-way integration as they promote. I worked for a company years ago that was then dubbed a meta-CASE tool. I appreciate the work that has gone into this product. Most of the operations I need to perform are intuitive and remind me of my own efforts "back in the day" to facilitate architecture and design. I also appreciate the documentation and how it funnels my actions in the "right" direction. The scripting language is a big plus. For those looking to automate and provide prescriptive guidance in how to use the product in the organization, this is empowering. **What do you dislike about Bizzdesign Horizzon?** The organization has decided to use a single workspace that spans the entire enterprise. This actually makes sense to me, but at this scale there are some features that make this a smooth process lacking. 1) Committing to the repository does not allow for partial commits. If I make an accidental change across mutliple models when thinking "locally", I must rollback everything. This can be time consuming to reproduce my intent. Some of this may be a failure of the organization's use of the security model, but I believe some granularity could be added to the commit, particularly because commits are hierarchical and based on a graph. This would mirror practices by wide-spread development source control tools such as git. 2) Copying elements across models could be more accommodating. When referring to a model element via copy/paste, it would be nice to not have the "paste" paste all the child elements of a composition. That forces the user to do the copy, and then remove the relationships unnecessary to the local context, which, on a canvas, can be tedious. 3) At the scale of this organization, the performance issues can sometimes be detrimental. **What problems is Bizzdesign Horizzon solving and how is that benefiting you?** From my point of view, solution architecture and how to aligng it to business architecture, enterprise architecture, how to target the operating environment, and, most importantly, how to align it to data architecture. ### 11. Our company is really not too excited about our business processes being stored in the public cloud since we (rightly or wrongly) believe they are a competitve advantage. **What do you dislike about Bizzdesign Horizzon?** There is really no falir to the output. I realize that the flat, 2-dimensional motif is all the rage today, but it makes things so dead looking. **What problems is Bizzdesign Horizzon solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had initially stated down a path of using CEB to attempt to accomplish what we are now beginning to implement in Bizzdesign. Gartner bought and terminated CEB, so we had to look for a new on-premises tool to allow us to map out infrastructure dependencies. You typically don't think of whether your software applications will run on your current, aging hardware, or whether your update of infrastructure will break your software stack. for us this came to a head with old versions of Oracle and Solaris (SPARC). Integration with Technopedia has been a game changer for the Infrastructure end of an EA. Of course, our BA's also have the responsibility of documenting how our business processes overlay our enterprise architectures (so we finally know what's keeping the ship afloat). ### 16. It's easy to create the process hierarhcy, that is top-down from L1 to L7 depending upon your organization taxonomy using various different models present in the tool. Also, a great tool for modelling BPMN processes. In addition to this, we do have the options to write the scripts and automate few of the tasks, which I personally feel the best option available in the market. **What do you dislike about Bizzdesign Horizzon?** Some symbols in BPMN modelling are missing. For e.g. text annotation is not there, though they have given another way to do it, but I personally don't like it. Similar, in boundary events as well, we have limited set of symbols. BiZZdesign HoriZZon has some of the best capabilities when it comes to design of data, system and business architecture where all the industry standards (BPMN 2.0, ArchiMate, etc.) are followed.
