My favorite feature of SAP ECC is its ability to robustly manage complex, large-scale business processes across different departments, such as finance, logistics, and procurement, within a single integrated system. SAP ECC offers strong data integrity, customizable modules, and deep control over business operations, making it ideal for large enterprises with strict compliance and reporting requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about SAP ECC? What I dislike about SAP ECC is its steep learning curve and outdated user interface. The system can feel unintuitive and cumbersome, especially for new or non-technical users. Customizations often require ABAP development or costly consulting support, which increases implementation and maintenance costs. Additionally, integration with modern tools and cloud-based platforms can be challenging without significant effort. What problems is SAP ECC solving and how is that benefiting you? SAP ECC solves the problem of managing and integrating complex business processes across multiple departments in a large organization. Data from customer projects within our company is processed by different departments. SAP ECC consolidates this data, enabling breakdown and reporting by project, product used, and service provided. If you have multiple production centers (multiple legal entities under one roof), the project structure becomes even more complex. SAP ECC resolves this complexity efficiently and effectively (if appropriate logic is implemented). For us, this means faster decision-making, better traceability, and better alignment between business units, which ultimately leads to cost savings and increased efficiency.
