Sangfor Cloud Platform Reviews & Product Details

I like the fast storage capabilities of Sangfor Cloud Platform. We use it for cloud storage, including its use for backup purposes and DCP concepts, which is really efficient for our needs. The assigned cloud storage capacity, much like EMC, is something we find beneficial and use for storing our ideal network data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sangfor needs to improve in several areas, for example, we still need to restart the VM when expanding the disk, upgrading the CPU or RAM. Sangfor also needs to improve Sangfor Secure, especially in terms of detecting viruses or malware, because when we compare it with other products, many are not detected by Sangfor Secure Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Sangfor HCI is its stability, robustness, and ease of use. The platform provides a smooth experience with reliable performance and an intuitive interface that makes resource management simple. It fully meets the company’s needs by integrating virtualization, backup, and monitoring features into a well-designed environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only aspect I think could be improved is the process of assigning existing hard disks to virtual machines, since the system needs to copy the disk into the original machine’s folder, making the procedure longer than expected. In other platforms, such as VMware, this process is faster and more straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Sangfor Cloud Platform as a business virtualization platform and I like the extreme ease of use and the pre-set automations. Snapshots are executed quickly and I can operate on them to recover VMs quickly and effectively. The logs are very efficient and keep everything under control, and I appreciate the single management console and integrated backups. Furthermore, the initial installation was very easy. Sangfor has a strong presence in Pakistan with excellent customer support and follows a simple licensing model. Sangfor HCI delivers a powerful yet easy to manage infrastructure that seamlessly integrates compute, storage, networking, and security into a unified platform. I particularly value its ease of implementation, ease of management, high availability, and cost efficiency. The built-in disaster recovery, automated backups, and intuitive interface streamline operations and minimize reliance on multiple vendors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While Sangfor HCI is a strong and dependable platform, there are certain limitations that can impact deployment flexibility. One key area for improvement is its integration with third-party solutions, such as Trend Micro Service Gateway and other virtual appliances, where compatibility issues are sometimes encountered. Enhancing interoperability with a wider range of vendor products would make Sangfor HCI more versatile and appealing for complex enterprise environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
