"Quick and Centralized Product Information Update with Sales Layer"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

What I like most about Sales Layer is how easy it is to update product information. Any changes can be made straight away, and the information is always up to date. This saves a lot of time and helps avoid mistakes. Another thing I like is that all product information is kept in one place, making it much easier to manage and find what I need. I also like that we have been able to create image libraries and keep all product images organized in one system. This makes it much easier to find, manage, and use images whenever they are needed. What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

What I like least about Sales Layer is that there are some things that could be better. First of all, it would be very useful to have an AI capable of automatically translating product content into different languages, such as English or Italian. Another aspect that could be improved is the product search function. Sometimes the search doesn't find the right products, so it can take more time to find the information. "A great solution for centralizing and organizing product information"
5/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

What I like the most about Sales Layer is the flexibility it offers when it comes to configuring product data. Every business has different requirements, and Sales Layer makes it easy to create and customize the exact fields needed for each product category without being locked into a rigid structure. This level of customization has allowed Projar to organize our product information in a way that reflects our specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

I am honestly very happy with the platform overall. It has improved our workflows and saved a lot of time. If I had to mention a few areas of improvement would be these.

1. One area that could be improved is the design flexibility of the technical datasheets. While the template works well, having more freedom to customize would make it easier for us.

2. The search function could also be more accurate, since finding specific files can sometimes take longer than expected.

3. Additionally, the AI features still have room for improvement. For example, automatic translations are not easily possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A flexible and efficient PIM solution for managing product information"
4/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

The main advantage is having all product information centralized in one place. Sales Layer makes it easier to organize, update, and maintain product data, while also ensuring consistency across different channels. The interface is fairly intuitive, and the platform offers solid flexibility for managing complex product information as well as the workflows around it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

Some parts of the platform could be more intuitive, especially when working with advanced configurations and more complex workflows. As with any PIM solution, there’s also a learning curve during setup and when tailoring the platform to our specific internal processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralize product data and save time with bulk editing"
5/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

What I like most about Sales Layer PIM is that it allows us to centralize and manage all our product information in one place. We regularly work with product descriptions, technical specifications, images, downloadable files and translations in several languages, so having a single source of truth helps us keep the information consistent and up to date. The bulk editing, import and export tools save us a significant amount of time compared with updating products manually. It is also useful for creating digital catalogs and product sheets directly from the information stored in the PIM. Overall, Sales Layer has helped us improve the organization of our product data, reduce repetitive work and make product information easier to distribute across different teams and channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

Overall, our experience with Sales Layer PIM has been very positive. The platform covers most of our product information needs and continues to evolve. The main area for improvement would be having a little more flexibility when creating and sharing product sheets, such as opening PDFs in a browser, customizing file names with dynamic product data, and having more layout options for tables, images and page breaks. These enhancements would make an already useful platform even more efficient and reduce a few manual steps in our workflow. We also appreciate that the support team is responsive, helpful and willing to listen to feedback and submit improvement requests to the product team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sales Layer Brings Order and Compliance Clarity to Our Product Catalogue"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

What I like best is the order it brings. Before Sales Layer, our catalogue lived in a dozen spreadsheets and everyone had their own "latest version". Now there is one place where a product is a product: the categories are clean, the attributes are consistent, and the certifications sit exactly where they belong instead of buried in someone's inbox.

That last part matters more than I expected. We work in a market where compliance documents and product certifications are not optional, and having them attached to the product record, versioned and ready to push to every channel, has saved us from a lot of late-evening panic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

The setup phase took longer than expected. Modelling categories and attributes for a large catalogue requires decisions you cannot easily reverse later, and some settings are buried deeper in the interface than they need to be. Worth it in the end, but plan for a proper onboarding period rather than a quick start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complete solution: quick integration, great collaboration, and excellent technical support"
5/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

A very comprehensive solution that facilitates internal and external management, significantly improving collaboration between teams and clients. Its rapid implementation and integration through connectors allows processes to be accelerated from the very beginning. Additionally, it has excellent technical support, always efficient and decisive, and its continuous evolution with artificial intelligence features makes it an innovative, flexible tool ready for the current business challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

So far, we have not had the opportunity to take advantage of all the functionalities and possibilities that Sales Layer offers in all areas of our business. Therefore, we currently cannot highlight any negative aspects of the tool, as our experience has been positive and we are still discovering all its potential. "Excellent Support and Bulk Editing That Speeds Up SKU Management"
4/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

The support has been really good. They take the time to understand our business and requirements, which makes a big difference. The feature I like most, and use regularly, is the bulk editing, because it helps us speed up our processes and work more efficiently. We have a lot of SKU so the PIM helps us manage all the data in one centralised platform, which can be used across many integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

Due to having lots of SKU, it can be a bit slow to change tabs and load, but I'd expect that in any platform handling so much data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sales Layer replacing Excel nightmare"
5/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

When we reached 1000 products in our webshop, Excel became a nightmare as a database. Sales Layer solved the problem. It can be configured without external consultants and gives us complete freedom to manage product information for export to the website and ERP system. User profiles make it easier for sales and administrative staff to focus on their areas of responsibility. Sale Layer also has very good support and nice employees.

We are totally happy with Sales Layer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

It would be great to have a supplier log in so they can update prices and other information. This can be done by setting up a user profile, but it will still be a bit too complicated for some. The Excel import works fine, but it would be a great improvement of column designations could be stored under a name. These are minor issues, not a deal breaker. "A Single Source of Truth for Product Data—Sales Layer Keeps Everything in One PIM"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sales Layer PIM?

Having one place where product data actually lives. Before Sales Layer our technical data was spread across spreadsheets, supplier files and the storefront, and nobody could say which one was right. Now the PIM is the reference and everything downstream, Shopify included, reads from it. The file fields are part of this: manuals, certificates and packaging documents sit on the product record instead of in a folder somewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sales Layer PIM?

The setup curve is steep. Getting the field structure, the formulas and the connector mappings right takes real time, and the documentation covers the what more than the why, so a lot of it is learned by trial and error. Some legacy fields also behave differently from what their name suggests, which is confusing until someone tells you. Once it is configured it works well, but budget more time for the initial implementation than you expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
