SageMath is easy to interact with R, which I use often. It offers various features on a single platform to make it more versatile and effortless to do my activities. **What do you dislike about SageMath?** When I was new, it took me a lot of time and effort to learn the working of SageMath. I find the command-line nature of SageMath less useful as I work with the graphical user interface. It requires a proper and latest machine to work as it has a lot of machine compatibility constraints. **What problems is SageMath solving and how is that benefiting you?** SageMath has brought various libraries, tools and functionalities under one roof with a wide range of features which reduced my time and effort by not using multiple software. It easily interacts with R and has the flexibility to use code from various other platforms which helped me do my work efficiently. It made maths easy to calculate and made my work fast and managable ### 2. It may require some time and effort to grasp. The outcomes make it all worthwhile. Personally I find the graphical user interface more appealing compared to working through command line operations. **What do you dislike about SageMath?** Its installation being restricted to MacOS systems, which hampers compatibility. Additionally frequent service disruptions and migrations can disrupt workflow. It can also be frustrating when there is a lack of examples or documentation for manipulations. **What problems is SageMath solving and how is that benefiting you?** This directly benefits my business by saving time and resources enabling decision making processes and overall improved productivity. With SageMath at my disposal I feel confident, in taking on any challenge that arises. ### 3. The syntax was easy to understand and I found it very effective when conducting research that required complex mathematical calculations. **What do you dislike about SageMath?** I needed to brush up on python before I could really get the hang of it but other than that it felt manageable. **What problems is SageMath solving and how is that benefiting you?** Saved me hours in computing time for equations that I would have otherwise done by hand or painstakingly coded in Matlab. ### 4. To me, SAGEMATh is a work of art. It is extremely well documented and the coding is very neat. From my point of view, SageMath is one of the greatest software that I have ever worked with in teaching. Solving equations and graphing is really amazing in this product. I have been using it for some sections of differential equations course. I assigned homework for my students with this software and I received great feedback from y students. It uses Python. The system is so comprehensive. The playground aspect of the software is really great. The software doing great at keeping a balance balance between ease-of- use for beginners and high-end users. **What do you dislike about SageMath?** One of the things that I did not like about the software is that Sage does not natively run on windows. It is also a pretty heavy program. The installation process was also preety hard for me. **Recommendations to others considering SageMath:** The users who like to install the program on their computer, they need to have a MacOS system for installing it. If you are familiar with Python, using this software is reallly easy for you. **What problems is SageMath solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me in solving my problems that I teach in diffenet mathematic courses espercailly difeerential equatioj course. SageMath is an open source software. It is a great alternative to Mathematica. ### 6. SageMath gives accurate and reliable solution which makes it useful as during research you need accurate results. **What do you dislike about SageMath?** When using SageMath you need basic programming techniques since its not that easy for beginners. **Recommendations to others considering SageMath:** I have been using SageMath for solving different mathematical problem from all fields of mathematics. Its a reliable and highly affordable. **What problems is SageMath solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use SageMath to compute and formulate mathematical modelling equation during the research period. Can be used with python. **What do you dislike about SageMath?** Only supports mathematical arguments. The website allows you to upload and download ipython notebooks (.ipynb). Even the free version for this feature is excellent, however the monthly subscriptions give you more RAM (memory and speed) and additional features. You can also create terminal sessions and install features as you would on your own machine. **What do you dislike about SageMath?** Sagemath cloud updates too often. Sometimes, this messes up my notebooks, for example -- a code that ran on a previous version may need to be tweaked before it can be run again after the update. In addition to this, some installs are not permitted on the cloud version. **Recommendations to others considering SageMath:** Great software, frequent outages and migrations can affect your existing code. **What problems is SageMath solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use the software for processing scientific research data. The greatest benefit is the cloud server which means my data and notebooks are available even if I am not carrying my files. They are accessible online from any computer. ### 9. Tt is a web-based interface, which is great from a cross-platform point of view **What do you dislike about SageMath?** The UI in general just didn't feel comfortable to me and symbolic engines of free tools are very limiting, **What problems is SageMath solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wanted to do some manipulations on a simplicial complex and then calculate the homology and display a couple graphics, so I coded up the whole thing in SageMath. ### 10.
