It helps to keep all of our FAQ in one place, making it easy to search and update the content while maintaining an audit trail and history for review. I find that searching and updating answers is very easy, and the system facilitates bulk updates and changes through downloading and re-uploading Word documents. The sorting and filter functions are user-friendly, allowing me to quickly find the content I need. I also like how it's easy to see expired content and the ability to customize many fields. Transitioning from PMAPS to RocketDocs was straightforward, and I had no issues with it. **What do you dislike about RocketDocs?** I think some of the attribution functions and how you modify the attributions is a little clunky. I liked how before you could right click and update the attributions right from the main page. Just how you access the attributions page for each question, it helps to quick update the attributes without having to click into the question. Also after clicking on an answer, when going back to the home page, it would be nice if you have an option to stay on the selected answer versus always going to the top of the page. **What problems is RocketDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** RocketDocs helps me keep FAQs in one place, making it easy to search, update, and track changes. The sorting and filtering features are simple to use, and customization options are excellent. Migrating from ResponseFull to 2.0 was a big change for our writers who viewed the platform as a content and file library. The number of project management features, such as Collaboration messages and notifications, have enabled us to implement a gradual change management process to get our team to use the platform more efficiently. We have recently upgraded our Salesforce connector to implement the two-way data feature. This upgrade has greatly improved our project assignment process and has gotten our team working in the platform more fully. Also, I like that your team is continuously improving your platform as well as looking to the future by adding great components such as GenAI. **What do you dislike about RocketDocs?** You could make the Control Panel more flexible. Our team likes the premise but would like to be able to adjust the columns and the snapshots. Customization of templates and ability to work directly within Microsoft Word while leveraging the tool. **What do you dislike about RocketDocs?** System is comprehensive and customizeable; as such, the learning curve can be intimidating for new users who are expecting an simple cloud-based user interface (however, these more simple interfaces have shown downsides in my option). **What problems is RocketDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main value we have uncovered with RocketDocs is the CRM integration that is customizeable based on how the CRM entry is entered. This has reduced the amount of guesswork, re-work and double data entry which is very valuable for high-volume, quick-turnaround proposals that we deal with. RocketDocs has developed various improvements to the product based on our suggestions such as changes to the library search/preview so that we can easily view graphics related content. Another example is fixes so that we can use shapes/graphics in Word Documents that get published. They are currently working on a "quick launch" feature so that we can quickly publish elements of a project that use project variables (CRM fields) without publishing the entire project. I would prefer to be able to upload an entire word document and then separate each section or question and assign it to its respective area of our business. We have looked at other competitors and RocketDocs is the most cost effective. **What do you dislike about RocketDocs?** Over the past year and a half, we have had several issues with our content in RocketDocs - formatting issues, styles, etc. Things seemed to be resolved at this point but it did cause us a lot of headaches and re-work. **Recommendations to others considering RocketDocs:** If you are looking for a centralized location for your content library, RocketDocs is a great tool. It's very user friendly and easy to use. It is very easy to organize, search for and place contents into proposals. **What problems is RocketDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can store all of our content in one centralized location and it is easy to see when a record was updated, last verified, etc. I really like how we can apply filters to easily sort what type of records we are looking for. The product has always worked well for our simple search needs. We're able to search by keywords and conduct quick filters to find the pieces we need. **What do you dislike about RocketDocs?** Recently RocketDocs went through some "upgrades" that left us unable to use the product for some time (search functionality was not working properly) and caused a lot of headaches with formatting. The product also changed from being able to insert a selected piece into your Word document with a simple click. Now, you must download the piece, open the downloaded Word document, and copy and then paste into your other working document. A LOT of steps now. I understand they have other solutions within the product to help with this new change. **What problems is RocketDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** Simple searches within RocketDocs are able to be performed to find Master pieces that can then be used within our proposals. It is easy to categorize the information and the system allows you to set up a review schedule to ensure information stays up-to-date. **What do you dislike about RocketDocs?** My primary frustration with the RocketDocs platform is how information is input. In order to not have an overwhelming amount of content within one document, I have to enter each question from an RFP individually, which takes a great deal of time. The speed with which my team can locate and update responses is impressive. RocketDocs also seems to be in a period of time where they are introducing new features quickly that extend the functionality. Examples include consistent improvements to reporting and administration aspects. We are a large organization pushing past 1,000 records, and the Libraries and Taxonomy structure (including freeform tags) are beneficial with data management. Some RFP teams may find great benefits from their RapidDocs feature. Ask them to demo for you. It automates commonly used information into templates. **What do you dislike about RocketDocs?** As the system is in a period of impressive growth, many of the negatives that may have been present once are being quickly replaced with positives. The company is very responsive to user input and feedback. We find them quite open in communicating where they see future improvements - and then acting upon them quickly. There is nothing that we need the system to do that it does not do. And we are likely not using every aspect of the system - so we have room to grow as well. **Recommendations to others considering RocketDocs:** RocketDocs is a strong company with a long history of innovation. Their system, formerly PMAPS, has evolved every year. From server-based, to the early online plug-in integrations, to fully web-based, to the responsively designed system you see today. Come prepared for a demo or sales call with your current pain points, gaps, and needs. The use of freeform Tags for each record is an excellent advantage for each user to tag items as they see fit for easy locating in the future. As a manager, the Reporting allows me to review the productivity of each team member and review when responses are outdated and in need of SME updates. We can maintain a comprehensive list of SMEs and their direct managers using custom fields without assigning each SME a login. In the proposal business we use a lot of the same content over and over. Being able to search for that word and the content that includes that word is so much easier than re-writing the information each time. You can use the system to insert that information into your proposal easily. Plus, you can keep information updated easily. **What do you dislike about RocketDocs?** The only thing I don't like about Rocketdocs is the inability to find words within a document. For example, if you have a proposal downloaded that you know contains the information you are looking for, but it hasn't been extracted and put into it's own search, there is no search function within the document once it's opened. There have been times that I have lost documents that I was working on and I don't like that. **What problems is RocketDocs solving and how is that benefiting you?** RocketDocs allows for creating documents then enter information automatically. This saves a lot of time usually spend on cutting and pasting.
