compatibility of enterprise developer features with visual studio

Using Enterprise developer with .net is not easy.

It uses the cloud and on prem infrastructure in such way which reduce the cost as compare to mainframe

**What do you like best about Rocket Enterprise Developer?**

Enterprise Developer offers a wide range of Mainframe compatible Functions, Tools and resorces to maintain stable concepts for Rehosting evel complex and proprietary Mainframe applictaions
- Supports PL/I as well
- very  substantial documentation available
- easy to use and  modern UI (ESCWA) for administration, configuration and customization
- excellent support thru MicroFocus experts

**What do you dislike about Rocket Enterprise Developer?**

sometimes documentation not really up to date, but support could help :-)

**Recommendations to others considering Rocket Enterprise Developer:**

Deep Know-how about Mainframe OS , System Management, Databae,  and Tools is mandatory as well as know-how about target platform (i.e. Windoews, Linux, Azure, AWS)

**What problems is Rocket Enterprise Developer solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Migration Legacy applictaions to open- Systems Platforms and Cloud OS
- Modernize Legacy applications 
-  Improve CI processes
- Modern IDE 
- improve and speed up testing
