I use TASKING Debugging Tools for debugging the software I wrote for my embedded NXP device. I like the real good GUI it provides, allowing me to debug line by line. It is easy to use, and after the initial setup, which was a bit complicated, it has been very smooth. I like TASKING Debugging Tools more than any other debugging tools I've used. I have a special requested BBE core support, and while the support was really fast and helpful, the issue is it only allows me to keep one breakpoint at a time in that core. When we had a new project with TI Devices, we had the issue that TASKING Debugging Tools isn't supporting TI DSP core, so we needed to switch to TI Debuggers and Tools. Initially, the setup was a bit complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
