# Absolute Secure Access vs. GoodAccess vs. Cloudflare One: which best eliminates VPN complexity while maintaining security posture across enterprise networks?

Eliminating VPN complexity while holding the line on security posture is where these three software-defined perimeter (SDP) platforms actually diverge, not in whether they claim to replace a VPN, since all three do, but in what kind of organization each one was actually built to serve at the enterprise level.

What makes this worth settling carefully:

Whether the platform's own reviewer base skews toward the enterprise segment this question is asking about, or toward small and mid-market use cases

What specifically breaks or requires a workaround once legacy VPN infrastructure is fully decommissioned

How support responsiveness holds up once a company is fully dependent on the platform rather than running it alongside a legacy VPN

Whether the vendor is positioned and reviewed primarily in this SDP category or in an adjacent one

What the reviews actually show for each:

Absolute Secure Access: Reviewers most often describe a persistent, always-reconnecting VPN client well suited to field and mobile workers who move between networks constantly, a genuine enterprise use case; the more serious tradeoff reviewers describe is customer support responsiveness declining enough over time that at least one enterprise reviewer explicitly documented switching away to a competing vendor.

GoodAccess: Reviewers consistently praise the fast, low-code deployment and centralized access control, but the reviewer base is overwhelmingly small-business and mid-market, with no enterprise segment reviews recorded at all, which is worth weighing heavily against a question that specifically asks about enterprise networks.

Cloudflare One (SASE): A real, well-reviewed product at 4.6 stars and 105 reviews, though it isn't tagged in G2's Software-Defined Perimeter category at all; its reviews sit under SASE and adjacent security categories, so any comparison here is against a product G2 itself doesn't classify alongside the other two.

For enterprise teams that fully decommissioned a legacy VPN using one of these three: which platform's support experience actually held up once you had no fallback VPN to lean on if something broke?

Honestly GoodAccess got cut pretty fast on our end, just couldn't find anyone close to our size actually running it, felt like a lot of trust to put in something with basically no track record at scale. We went Cloudflare One instead, and I'll be real, it's kind of an odd pick since it's not even in the same category on paper. Mostly happened because half the team already knew the Cloudflare dashboard so nobody had to relearn everything from scratch. Still running our old VPN as a backup though so I genuinely don't know what breaks once that's gone.
