"Seamless Live Collaboration and Issue Tracking for Faster Model Reviews"

5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

Live collaboration makes it easy to have all parties reviewing the project at the same time.

I also like the ability to place 2D overlays on top of the 3D model, so I can view the drawing alongside the model at the same time and compare them directly.

It’s seamless to take an issue from a clash into the issue tracker, assign a responsible party to review it on their own time, and then have everyone see the resolution once it’s updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

Setting the colours and view settings so that screenshots of clashes and issue-tracker images look correct and are actually useful can be a real pain, and the process feels unintuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

Clash resolution with everybody being on the same page and seeing live updates as they are fixed streamlines the whole process and improves our ability to coordinate projects.

The software also runs so much smoother and faster than other alternatives we have tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Model Communication That Performs on Projects of Any Size"

5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

User-friendly software that makes it incredibly easy to communicate what’s happening with the models, clashes, and the overall project.

We’ve used it on everything from very small park washrooms to a billion-dollar project, and it has performed fantastically in every scenario we’ve put it through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

I wish the pricing and the process of integrating users were a bit more straightforward. It can get complicated when some of the users we need to add already have their own license, and we’re also managing multiple licenses of different types at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

Clash detection as a multiplayer experience is what Revizto does best. I haven’t found a better way to show every aspect of a project to all stakeholders at once.

We can communicate exactly why something is a problem using clear visuals, and everyone understands what’s happening and what needs to be done to fix it.

Having all users in the same software, with live updates, is an absolute game changer. No other software I’ve used delivers this kind of shared, real-time coordination in the same way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Making Field Coordination as not a Go-To Solution"

5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

Revizto provides an intuitive UI that makes model navigation, issue tracking, and collaboration easy for both technical and non-technical users. The platform integrates well with BIM tools like Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, creating a single source of truth for project teams. Performance is reliable even on large, complex models, helping teams identify and resolve issues quickly. Its centralized coordination capabilities deliver strong ROI by reducing rework and improving communication. The onboarding process is straightforward, and customer support is responsive and knowledgeable. The use of customizable workflows helps teams manage project data more efficiently and make better-informed decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

Revizto's mobile experience can occasionally feel less efficient than the desktop version when reviewing complex models or managing a large number of issues. Some users may also find that certain coordination workflows depend on all project stakeholders actively adopting the platform to realize its full value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

Issue tracking, progress tracking and bringing BIM & VDC to the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Experience Backed by Efficient Performance and Excellent Support"

5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple for users to become productive quickly. Processing speeds are consistently strong, allowing tasks to be completed efficiently without delay. The training materials are comprehensive, well-structured, and easy to follow, which contributes to a smooth and seamless onboarding experience. The available resources provide clear guidance and help users build confidence with the platform from the outset. Additionally, the customer support team has been responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful, providing timely assistance whenever questions or issues arise. Overall, the combination of a user-friendly interface, strong performance, high-quality training resources, and reliable customer support creates a positive and effective user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

One area for improvement is the platform's limited integration with other systems and applications. Because it operates somewhat independently from other tools in the project ecosystem, data transfer and synchronization often require additional manual steps, making the overall data integration process more challenging and time-consuming. This can create inefficiencies, increase the risk of data inconsistencies, and reduce the benefits of having a connected digital workflow.

Additionally, while the existing dashboards provide useful insights, the charting and reporting capabilities could benefit from greater customization such as adjusting the scale of text/data. More flexibility in configuring visualizations, filtering data, adjusting layouts, and creating user-specific reports would enable teams to better tailor dashboards to their workflows and reporting requirements. Enhanced customization would improve the ability to analyze project performance, communicate key metrics to stakeholders, and extract more value from the available data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the platform's key strengths is its ability to provide centralized and easy access to models across multiple teams and disciplines. By making models readily available in a user-friendly environment, it enables stakeholders from various backgrounds—including project managers, field personnel, owners, operations teams, and other non-modeling users—to review and interact with project information without requiring specialized modeling software or advanced technical expertise.

This accessibility helps break down traditional information silos and encourages greater collaboration across the project team. Users can quickly visualize design intent, review scope, identify potential issues, and better understand project requirements through the model rather than relying solely on drawings or reports. As a result, communication becomes more effective, project transparency increases, and key decisions can be made with greater confidence and alignment among stakeholders.

The platform also supports more frequent engagement from team members who may not typically participate in model reviews, promoting broader project involvement and improving overall coordination. By democratizing access to model-based information, the platform helps ensure that everyone is working from the same source of truth, reducing misunderstandings and contributing to more informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. "Powerful Features, But Overwhelming for Infrequent Users"

2.5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

We use Revizto mainly as our IFC viewer for people working on site, and we love the clash detection functions. I appreciate that all our models are reachable on one platform, making it the place to go for viewing 3D models. I like how fast it loads large infrastructure 3D models, which helps all project members easily view our models and makes it easy to convince older project members to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

I find Revizto a bit overwhelming because there are so many features. For people who don't use it every day, it sometimes gets a little too difficult. For example, you can choose what elements are visible in five different ways, but each method handles things differently and requires different steps. One efficient way would be more than enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

Revizto centralizes our model access on one platform, making it our go-to for viewing 3D models. We like its fast loading of large models and its user-friendliness, which helps even older team members engage with the models easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revizto, not Revitzo"

4/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

Revizto has become an essential part of my daily workflow, effectively bridging the gap between our office design teams and the field. What I appreciate most is how it brings everything together into a single, reliable source of truth; the coordination and issue management tools are incredibly intuitive, allowing us to track clashes and design queries directly within the model rather than relying on endless, disconnected reports. Even when we are working with massive, complex datasets, the platform remains remarkably fast and stable, which is a huge relief during crunch time. Perhaps most importantly, their support team actually understands the AECO industry, so when we do hit a snag, I’m not just talking to someone reading from a script—I’m getting practical, workflow-focused help that gets us back on track immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

Integration with a mobile pad would be great. The pricing should definitely be reviewed, and allowing a bridge process across different projects—especially during construction phases—would be awesome. I’m also hoping a layer of intelligence can be added to the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps lower risks by providing a smoother, more interoperable platform for coordination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clash Detection and Issue Tracking That Streamlines Coordination"

5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

In Clash Detection, the location of the clash lives with the Issue it creates in the Issue Tracker. This allows us to find the clash in the contexts we're used to seeing our design in. Issues can be tracked to resolution, dropping off when resolved, allowing us to focus on new clashes on each test. We no longer need to distribute static reports to our engineers and asking them to re-find the clashes we already found from that report. By making the process more efficient, we also made it more likely to happen, which improves design outcomes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

Revizto really wants to be a Document Management tool, too. The 2D workflows are lacking. Architects deliver 2D documents as our deliverable, we want to be able to mark them up easily (red-lining), track sheet revisions, and make it easy to review past versions. It also doesn't handle multi-page PDFs, which means we cannot include the review of specification books to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

15 years ago, we decided to include clash detection as part of our design process. Other tools can find clashes, but the challenge has always been tracking and reporting those clashes. Clash detection used to take a really long time to do, and then even longer for the engineers to resolve the clashes. We had to describe the issue, set up informative screenshots, assign the clash to the appropriate party, assemble, and distribute reports. The engineers would then come through the report for issues pertaining to them, re-find the clashes, and if they find them, fix them. We'd then have to check that each clash was resolved before starting the process over again. With Revizto, the tests know who to assign clashes to, so we run the test, and issues are automatically created with the location of the clash, assigned, and tracked. Each time the test is run, resolved clashes drop off, and we only need to review any new clashes. Way more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Facilitator for Complex Projects"

5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

I like its interface, the ease and speed of use, and that its learning curve is very quick. The issue creator is essential, and the 3D tools are also easy to learn. I appreciate that it is cross-platform and that you can always work in the cloud. Additionally, the initial setup of Revizto is very easy and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

I would like there to be an online 3D model explorer through a web browser. The Android app could be more polished. Within the platform for Apple tablets, it should include the creation of reports directly from the app, as well as the creation of dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

Revizto improves communication between teams, automates reports, simplifies collision management, and facilitates the coordination of large projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Smooth BIM Coordination—Even on Lower-End Hardware"

5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

Revizto clearly stands out from the competition in one area that’s often overlooked: how efficiently it runs on non-dedicated hardware. In the day-to-day reality of a Project team, not everyone who needs access to the model works on a workstation, because not everyone actually needs one. Revizto fits this environment without compromising the user experience: there’s no noticeable latency and no problems with real-time loading of federated data; scalable graphics means high FPS even on lower-end laptops.

The interface is clean and well organised. Onboarding is fast: anyone with BIM experience can get up and running quickly, without having to push through a steep learning curve. The filtering tools and the overall data-query logic are genuinely top-tier. If you’re used to working with complex datasets coming from different authoring software, you’ll find the tools are up to the task, with a level of control that holds up.

The standout feature for us remains Clash Automator. Being able to define automated rules for the classification, assignment, and management of clashes removes a large amount of repetitive manual work and significantly reduces the margin for human error. For our team, it has shifted from a “nice to have” to an essential requirement: without Clash Automator, we genuinely struggle to achieve results that meet our standards.

It’s quite pricey compared to its competitors, but ultimately it’s worth the money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

It’s excellent in its vanilla version; we’d like to see a bit more openness regarding the API in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hardware accessibility: not everyone in a BIM workflow needs a workstation, and Revizto runs smoothly even on mid-range laptops. That means no bottlenecks and no need for workarounds.

Clash management: the Clash Automator allows us to set up automated rules for classification and assignment, which replaces slow, inconsistent manual effort. Without it, we sometimes end up not running clashes at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revizto: Where large-scale BIM coordination finally becomes manageable"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Revizto?

Revizto stands out for its intuitive UI/UX, which allows even non-technical stakeholders — such as architects, clients, and site engineers — to navigate models and track issues without any BIM background. This significantly reduces onboarding friction on large, multi-disciplinary projects.

The platform's performance when handling large federated models is a clear differentiator. Working with heavy IFC and NWD files remains fluid, and the 2D-over-3D overlay feature is particularly valuable — being able to reference sheet drawings directly within the 3D environment bridges the gap between design intent and field coordination in a way most platforms still don't offer natively.

The CDE integrations (including ACC/BIM 360) streamline the model publishing workflow, allowing the team to maintain a single source of truth without manual file transfers. This has been especially useful for keeping all project stakeholders aligned on the latest model revisions.

On the wishlist side: pricing remains a barrier for broader adoption — particularly for smaller sub-consultants or projects where a full license per user is hard to justify. Bringing AI-assisted clash detection, automated issue summarization, or smart search set suggestions into the platform would be a natural and powerful next step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Revizto?

The primary gaps are around data portability and interoperability. A few areas that would significantly improve the workflow:

Export limitations are the most notable pain point. There is currently no native option to export viewpoints into industry-standard formats (e.g., BCF), which creates friction when coordinating with teams using other platforms such as Navisworks or BIM Collaborate. This forces manual workarounds that slow down issue handover between tools.

Measurement tool constraints are also limiting — specifically the inability to take multiple elevation readings in a single session without resetting. On large infrastructure or landscape projects, this adds unnecessary repetition to what should be a quick QA task.

Model export flexibility is another gap. The inability to export the 3D model or extracted geometry into CAD or PDF format restricts how non-Revizto users can consume deliverables. For reporting, client presentations, or contractor-facing documentation, this requires switching to additional tools — breaking the single-platform workflow that Revizto otherwise promotes.

These are not deal-breakers, but addressing them would meaningfully close the gap between Revizto and a fully self-sufficient project coordination platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Revizto solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of our core challenges was coordinating large federated BIM models across buildings and infrastructure & Landscape disciplines — where individual model files are substantial in size and combining them in traditional tools often resulted in performance issues that discouraged non-technical users from engaging with the models altogether.

Revizto directly addressed this. The platform handles heavy federated models — including both buildings and infrastructure models' components — with consistent performance, smooth navigation, and no significant loading barriers. This removed the hesitation that non-BIM users previously had when opening large models, which in turn improved participation across the wider project team.

More importantly, it resolved a long-standing interface coordination gap between building and infrastructure models. Issues that were previously difficult to visualise and communicate across disciplines — particularly at connection and interface zones — became far easier to identify, assign, and track through Revizto's issue management workflow.

The combined effect has been a measurable reduction in coordination time and rework cost. By centralising model review, issue logging, and stakeholder communication within a single platform, we eliminated the back-and-forth typically associated with multi-tool coordination workflows. The time and cost savings have been significant, particularly on large-scale projects where coordination inefficiencies compound quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
