They make it possible to quickly establish energy performance baselines across a range of archetypes, from industrial facilities to residential buildings. Having the ability to compare a “Base Case” and a “Proposed Case” within one unified platform also makes it much easier to justify energy-efficiency measures to stakeholders, using verified data as support. **What do you dislike about RETScreen?** There aren’t many projects available related to Jordan. **What problems is RETScreen solving and how is that benefiting you?** RETScreen helps me tackle the challenge of calculating complex Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission reductions. It lets me model the environmental impact of renewable energy transitions within a specific grid context, which is essential for producing realistic results. This is especially valuable for my work on national energy strategies because it offers a standardized, globally recognized framework for reporting carbon offsets and sustainability metrics clearly and consistently to stakeholders. ### 2. Despite feeling a bit overwhelmed by the abundance of information I didnt encounter any issues while using it. **What do you dislike about RETScreen?** Falls short when it comes to advanced calculations and personalized project planning. This limits its usefulness, for energy management projects. **What problems is RETScreen solving and how is that benefiting you?** RETScreen is conducting energy analysis and evaluating project feasibility. It came in handy when I had to look for information about Location, Energy Usage, Emission, Cost, and Risks of the PV system I had proposed. Although it would be nice if there were a simplified version or tab that would be helpful for learning students to focus on and see the simpler side of things. I also really liked the detailed final report it came in where it summarized all the things that has been done in the software. **What do you dislike about RETScreen?** There were a bit too many tabs of information that were little complicated at first but got easier with continual use. There isn't really much to dislike but maybe I could suggest to change the look of the user interface as it looked a tiny bit dated but not at all terrible. Just a personal suggestion. It would also be nice if there were a simplified version or tab that would be helpful for learning students to focus on and see the simpler side of things. Because in my time using it, I was overwhelmed with the amount of information I saw that I got confused with and really didn't use much of. **Recommendations to others considering RETScreen:** It comes with a good set of features that are more than enough to help with the things you need it with. **What problems is RETScreen solving and how is that benefiting you?** RETScreen helped with the Location, Energy Usage, Emission, Cost, and Risks of the proposed PV system. It really came in handy when it comes to detailed information when it came to performance, benchmarking and feasability as well. ### 4.
