What do you like best about RasterMaster SDK?

The best thing that I like is that it is superfast and superlight. It works on the browser and no special software is required other than the browser. You can use it from virtually anywhere and from any device. You can also get a free trial of the desktop version by providing your information. I mostly like the viewing capabilities and easy navigation which helps me in my dad to day work. There is also Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RasterMaster SDK?

There is virtually no problem or something I do not like while using Virtual Viewer. The starting prce is a little bit high. Sometime the system becomes slow and at times, the speed of the software is inadequate. The customer support is sometimes very bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RasterMaster SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are solving all sorts of work with VirtualViewer like viewing, merging and support for all kind of document including Microsoft Office and all pdf files. What do you like best about RasterMaster SDK?

We OEM VirtualViewer into our case management platform. I can summarize what we like into 3 main points: 1) Support for a large number of file formats, 2) technology is web based and so no install is required, and 3) customer service and support is outstanding. What do you dislike about RasterMaster SDK?

The solution is meant to be used out-of-the-box, which works great for us. Some folks may want to customize it which is fine, but not meant to do extensively (neither should it). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RasterMaster SDK solving and how is that benefiting you?

One of the solutions we use the viewer is for our FOIA (freedom information act) solution. Part of the process is to review documents (by viewing them), redacting some content, and also include exemption codes that virtually get affixed on the redacted areas. Exemption codes are reasons as to why something gets redacted. Furthermore, we can redact PII or any formatted text automatically. This is because of the embedded search capability in the app. Also, as mentioned previously, the multiple file format support is key in solutions such as FOIA. The last point I mention is the general annotation functionality, which our customers use extensively in our legal case management solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about RasterMaster SDK?

I like that VirtualViewer is highly configurable, including providing an API to allow for custom integration with any document repository. In addition there are pre-built integrations available already for many commonly used document management and content management platforms. I also like that the VirtualViewer provides innovative features that are not commonly found elsewhere and that the Snowbound team continues to improve the product. What do you like best about RasterMaster SDK?

What I like best about Snowbound VirtualViewer HTML5 .NET x64 bit version is its capability of being able to display different types of documents and some additional features that come out of the box, such as being able to print, export/save, and make annotations (although I do not use this feature), just to name a few. What do you dislike about RasterMaster SDK?

What I dislike most about Snowbound VirtualViewer HTML5 .NET x64 bit version is the customer service and support. I am not sure if that is really a negative to the product itself, but there are some features about the product that I do not like. The configuration for the viewer is not very user friendly. In order to make configurations to it, you need to know and have some programming concept, which is not a problem for me, but I can see how this can be an issue for others. The configuration really needs to be revamped to make it easier for the administrator to deploy the application in a more seamless way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering RasterMaster SDK:

Customer Support is a nightmare. It takes forever and a day for them to even acknowledge that you opened a support case with them. The support technicians do not seem very knowledgeable, at least not their first line of support. Hands down they have absolutely the worst customer support I have ever dealt with. In order for me to even get a response, I need to reach out to my account representative and make a formal complaint. The response seems to always be the same though..."We are trying our best", "We are understaff this week", "We have a lot going on with the new release, so our focus is elsewhere", "We apologize for the delay, blah, blah, blah". The responses seem very scripted and besides it taking forever for them to respond to you, their knowledge of the product seems sub-par as well. When they try to reproduce the issue, they reproduce it using their own specs and do not even try to mimic your environment, which is a total waste of time when you find out that they cannot seem to reproduce the issue.
