AI-Driven Testing That Accelerates Your Development Cycle Rainforest's AI capabilities manage the entire testing lifecycle from planning to execution. The platform automatically generates comprehensive test plans and identifies coverage gaps in your existing test suite, ensuring no critical user flows go untested. Unlike traditional frameworks that require manual test creation, Rainforest creates automated, end-to-end tests for you, dramatically reducing the time from specification to execution. What truly sets Rainforest apart is its self-healing test technology. When UI changes occur—whether it's a button relocation or design refresh—tests automatically adapt without manual intervention. This eliminates the constant maintenance burden that plagues traditional automation frameworks. When tests do fail, Rainforest provides granular visibility into exactly what changed and why the failure occurred, enabling rapid root cause analysis and resolution. No-Code Simplicity for Every Team Member Rainforest's intuitive, no-code interface democratizes test automation across your organization. Developers, product managers, and QA professionals alike can write, run, and maintain test suites without specialized training or coding expertise. The platform's visual-first approach interacts with UI elements the same way users do, rather than relying exclusively on fragile CSS selectors that break with every design update. Teams achieve measurable value in days, not months. There's no lengthy buildout period, no specialized hiring requirements, and no vendor lock-in to engineering resources. Test ownership can flexibly sit with development, product, or QA teams based on your organizational structure. ## Rainforest QA Reviews
 ### 1. Rainforest’s Simple No-Code UI Makes Onboarding Fast and Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

I really like that Rainforest is no-code. It means anyone who joins the team can be onboarded easily and quickly. That reduces the training overhead, and the learning curve is very small. Unlike other tools, I haven’t been able to find one that’s as simple and easy to use. The UI is straightforward as well, so it’s easy to find what you need.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

I struggle quite a bit with the AI features. They often feel slow and somewhat fickle, and I’m not always sure what they’re expecting from me. It would really help to have clearer guidance on what makes a strong prompt, plus a few templates or concrete examples that demonstrate how to use these features effectively and more consistently.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re a small team and don’t have dedicated QA testers. RainforestQA gives us the ability to automate QA so we don’t have to manually run these tests on a regular basis. It provides the assurance we need to ship changes without constantly worrying about serious regressions in our core, most important features.

 ### 2. Great experience working with Rainforest QA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arika I. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

I like the UI of the site and creating tests are very easy and straightforeward. The documentation available to describe the various features are very helpful. I also appriciate the quick responses by the CS team and their help when I have trouble.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Not anything to dislike, the new AI features are very helpful for dynamic tests

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Regression testing and having to do less manual testing on stable features

 ### 3. Rainforest makes it easy to build and maintain tests

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olivia R. | Customer Success Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Building my tests was very easy. I had been using another automated testing software before, and it was much simpler to create my tests in Rainforest than in any other software I tried. I also love that the Rainforest team is so helpful and happy to jump in when assistance is needed.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

I don't love that if you have self-healing enabled that it changes your test permanently if it is used in a test run.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rainforest helps us stay on top of regression and smoke suite testing, so we can catch issues early and stay ahead of problems before they impact our customers.

 ### 4. Solid Testing Platform For Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julio B. | QA Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

The easy way to create test cases with simple yet effective tools.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Flakiness can be an issue in most cases, doesn't help much with confidence at certain points.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Repeating testing over and over again. It brings confidence to our product, knowing it's working stable after we verify the first results, and then the consistency after that.

 ### 5. Its a very user friendly tool to use for automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

I like the fact that rainforest is user friendly. As a QA who was new to Rainforest, found it easy to adjust to, easy to use and learn. The support that the rainforest team is very nice to have. We are always informed with new features that get released.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

I would not say I have any dislikes about Rainforest

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coverage

 ### 6. Easy-to-Use Cloud Testing Tool with Reliable Results

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satyam P. | Software testing , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

I really like that Rainforest QA is completely cloud-based, so there’s no need to set up or maintain a local testing environment. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, which makes creating and updating test cases simple even for team members without deep technical skills. I also appreciate the parallel test execution feature, which helps save time during releases, and the smooth integration with tools like Jira and Slack for instant updates and tracking.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Sometimes the execution speed for larger automated test suites can be a bit slow, especially when running them during peak times. Also, the pricing might feel a little high for smaller teams or startups that run frequent tests. However, these are minor compared to the overall benefits the platform provides.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rainforest QA has helped us streamline our testing process and catch bugs earlier in the development cycle. Before using it, our team spent a lot of time setting up and maintaining local testing environments. Now, we can run tests directly in the cloud without worrying about infrastructure. The ability to run multiple tests in parallel has reduced our release cycle time, and the integrations with Jira and Slack keep the whole team updated in real-time, which improves collaboration and overall product quality.

 ### 7. Detailed Failure Insights, but Usability Could Be Smoother

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

The fact that the results we get are clearly visible and detailed in the failure description is what I like most about Rainforest QA. If there is a failure, then there is a high degree of confidence that there is an error someone in the application.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

There are some aspects of usability that feel a bit clunky. I think one is that certain aspects of snippets don't seem too discoverable at the outset. Also, I wish there was more capability in scheduling test runs such as setting different times for different days

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping provide early signal on failures that need to be observed before our users

 ### 8. Confidence to Deploy Anytime, with Less Manual Testing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Rainforest QA has given us the confidence to deploy whenever we want, knowing our tests have us covered. It has significantly reduced manual testing and integrates smoothly into our workflow. The platform is easy to set up, and their customer support is responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Some of the AI-driven features still feel a bit bleeding-edge — they can be slow at times and occasionally produce inconsistent results. That said, they are improving quickly, and the progress over the past months has been impressive.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rainforest QA helps us automate a large portion of our regression testing, drastically reducing the amount of manual testing needed before each release. This has given our team the confidence to deploy whenever we want, without worrying about missing critical issues. It’s streamlined our QA process, sped up releases, and freed up our team to focus on higher-value work.

 ### 9. Too Complicated and Time-Consuming for Simple Tasks

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

It's looks easy to sue but in reality it's not helping, instead causing too much time loss and effort to run even one simple login test.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

I can list many negative aspects about Rainforest, but I don’t have enough time to spend on this survey. The application shows an AI summary above every test step without asking me, which takes up too much space and prevents me from seeing or using the test steps. It doesn’t give me an option to hide or disable the summary and forces me to view it every time.

Additionally, the VM constantly loses connection or freezes, which causes the tests to fail frequently.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

instead solving problems giving more issues on testing

**Official Response from Lauren Harold:**

> Thanks for sharing your feedback — I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the UI. You can hide the AI Summary with the toggle at the top of your test if you don't find it useful. As for the connectivity issue, can you please share more details with support@rainforestqa.com so we can troubleshoot? I know your time is valuable, and we're happy to help resolve these issues to improve your experience.

 ### 10. Easy Test Creation, But Action Items Could Be Simpler

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deanna M. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Easy for anyone to create automation test cases.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

I don't like looking for all the action items.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us pull other non development resources to create test scripts.

 ### 11. A no code, easy to use, versatile and nimble product to accelerate your QA testing needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason M. | Release Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Rainforest provides a fantastic platform to get testing immediately with automation without requiring prior knowledge of code. The ability for anyone of any skill level to hop right into Rainforest and create, update and validate tests is a breeze. Our team has been able to leverage Rainforest for over 5+ years to automate all of our testing of our SaaS offering while at the same time align our tests with future features that are coming up for release. Not only does Rainforest quickly enable your team to automate your testing without code, you get the added benefit that your automated test cases are validation UI elements from color, position, text and much more as well as functionality.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Its hard to say there is a least helpful or an element about Rainforest we dislike. Branching does need some work for it to be fully functional however the Rainforest team has been making great strides to help us utilize this feature.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Removing the mundane testing that needs to be done on every new feature, every new version and allowing our team to be able to get down to the nitty gritty testing of either new features or bug fixes without spending time on testing items that should not fail. It has also removed the blinders most tester get while testing the mundane areas of a product that never break.

Users can flexibly modify the steps, which makes the process adaptable to different needs. The snippets feature is particularly useful, as it allows for reusing the same logic wherever it is applicable.

Users are unable to retrieve partial data which will be changing frequently from the UI when needed.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using for UI automation

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

The response is very good from Rainforest. The methodology that you have used to create testing framework is really exciting.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Almost everything thing is good, but yes I am still searching for better opportunity to enhance my potential. If you have something for me , that would be great helpful.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This helps teams achieve faster release cycles, improve software quality, and reduce the burden of test maintenance.

 ### 16. Incredible QA Driven by Solid AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grainger B. | VP of Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Rainforest QA took a huge amount of our QA burden and made it virtually hands off. The AI test cases were impressive and significantly decreased our flakiness. Setup was simple and once environments were setup required little effort on our side, Rainforest managed it all. Contacting the Rainforest team was incredibly easy and their response time was always fast. Loved the product and the team.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

The product was a little cost prohibitive for a small startup, but still saved significant money over traditional QA.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to scale our QA and get test coverage but had limited budget to do so. Rainforest QA significantly decrease our escaped defects.

 ### 17. I like that I know exactly what is broken in the system.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Many tests fail because the screenshot does not match (just a little bit) and many tests do not find bugs but require minor edits

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have few testers and this helps to make sure that everything works before the release.

 ### 18. Easy to use test automation for dynamic websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenni T. | QA Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Easy to use for non-coders, failed tests easy and FAST to fix (but includes AI to fix tests automatically), good UI, very fast and helpful helpdesk for when you run into issues - this is worth more than gold.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

honestly it's really good but if I have to nitpick, choosing servers from EU area (for GDPR) is tricky and I've had occasionally issues where the servers changed back to "default" which is US. For EU customers the server pick should be easier.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daily smoke tests, support for regression testing

 ### 19. I work as a QA Lead

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Currently the main issue my team has is with scrolling to find elementals in the test

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do not have enough resources to have someone writing automation tests from scratch, so having a 3rd party application that makes generating/creating tests easy has been really beneficial to my team

**Reviewed by:** Pushya M. | Delivery Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Rainforest QA played a crucial role in reducing our deployment time from staging to production. Its automation capabilities streamline the testing process, ensuring faster feedback and higher efficiency. ### 24. Production testing with RainforestQA

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yuriy K. | Staff QE, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

With Rainforest Automation we can now create and manage our test suite with ease and no coding skills. There are multiple ways to locate elements on the page and make assertions which adds flexibility to the tests. They also have AI features that help with test execution and assertions.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

The AI feature is not quite reliable yet. Sometimes it overwrites test steps attempting to fix the test in the current run but ultimately breaking tests for consecutive runs. This creates a bit of overhead for us as we have to go and fix tests manually. I hope AI features will be improved to avoid such scenarios or at least add more control over overwrites.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RainforestQA allows us to execute complex user flows in production from various geographical regions, in multiple languages and on different browsers and platforms. They also have a virtual cards solution that allows us to test production payment flows in our application.

 ### 25. I like the easy to automate feature about it but the AI assertions need improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed A. | Software Quality Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

The test case creation part is the best.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

The AI assertion part needs improvement.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us save time in doing manual regression every time a new feature is deployed. Also developers can also test specific modules once they deploy their new changes and check themselves if their deployment has impact on related modules.

 ### 26. Great service that is consistently updating with useful tools

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

The AI features of Rainforest can be finnicky to work with and are prone to hallucinations.

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Basically rainforest is very easy to use because of it's features and the documantation/cusomer support provided by rainforest team.Which helps to automate UI functionalities with less effort. Especially AI is the best feature among all other regular features. Moreover anyone who doesn't have prior automation experience can also use this tool by going through the detailed documentation.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

One of the major obstruction is that can't have facility to capture the api response

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

The tool has improved a lot since i started using it, now with the enhanced visual matching and the xpath locators, false failures are reduced a lot.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Most of the times the VM setup and the overall test execution takes a lot of time. We've seen tests that for a human they would take around 2 min, for code-based automation it would take seconds but for Rainforest it takes around 5 min

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With this tool we avoid running repetitive tests daily and weekly, so that way we can focus the manual testers on other activities that require more attention. It helps us save time on our daily and weekly testings

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

finding bugs in different features and it helps with testing as it gives different perspectives from other users

 ### 32. Fast, efficient and quality work with relatively minimal documentation/supervision

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Our dedicated engineers have been great to work with! They are extremely knowledgeable, self-motivated/managing, communicate irregularities in our app behavior and actively work through creating new tests and updating broken ones with very little supervision necessary from our team. The onboarding and implementation process was relatively painless, using some sample procedurall videos and spec documents, the RF team quickly became familiar with our app and continue knowcking out JIRA tickets we produce for them. The testing software platform itself is user-friendly and intuitive. We are a relatively new client, but our test coverage is growing quickly and we are really happy so far!

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

As a developer who communicates with the QA team and occassionally updates some tests, there is an opportunity for me to become more familiar with the platform and more efficient using it. Having said that, I have always been able to figure out how to make any necessary modifications to our tests.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a amaller development team of 5, we had been extremely limited in our ability to dedicate time to write comprehesive tests. There dedicated engineers jumped right in and began writing solid tests with very little ramp-up time.

 ### 33. A true user experience of Rainforest QA

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Puneet Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Rainforest QA is a best tool to automate the test cases with easy and effective manner. It gives the confidence to user as it's easy to implement and it's screenshot feature will give you a feel like someone is working manually. Also the live chat feature and support team is extremely helpful and great.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Sometimes the test case failed but when we try again even without a change it starts working. Other than that the integration is not there with any test management tool.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helping me to automate the test cases and saves the time without any code or prior knowledge.

 ### 34. Works well for non-technical users

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

RainforestQA does not offer an on-premise solution.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 35. Great platform for no code testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petson B. | Product Management Co-op, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Ability to write and manage test cases without the need for coding

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Limitation with covering certain test scenarios, integration testing, stress testing etc.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps in creating Automation test cases without the need for hiring a QA engineer, this helps the company on saving the cost for hiring an additional resource which is much expensive than signing a contract with Rainforest.

 ### 36. A Guide to QA Tools and Best Practices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

User-Friendly Interface
Automation and Manual Testing
Real-Time Feedback

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Lack of On-premise tool
Lack of Reporting Dashboard

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual testing bottlenecks.
Real time testing feedbacks.

 ### 37. Useful but clunky/confusing to use

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

We like how the service seems very reliable and has a lot of options to configure our tests with. The Slack integration works well too.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

The dashboard UI is not very intuitive to me, and it can be confusing/overwhelming to quickly figure out what went wrong when diagnosing a failure. We've also had a lot of flakiness trying to configure dynamic masking areas, but it's possible we are doing something wrong.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We just want a simple way to detect regressions on our website using no-code. We are iterating quickly and figured this is better than writing a lot of automated tests in code.

 ### 38. Very good, room for improvement!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

It's very easy to use and offers multiple ways to organize your tests. Customer support is quick and gives you advice or workarounds.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

I think it should offer multiple ways to run tests (as in, running them one after the other) because using snippets in a single test makes it very long and complicated.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can run multiple tests and once and check out their results, providing video footage that helps my team recognize the errors in our software

 ### 39. need improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

it is easy to use tool for automation test

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

scrolling to element and AI needs improvement

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated testing

 ### 40. Rainforest makes QA'ing Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Intuitive test building with high-quality customer support. It is easy to build complicated tests for your product in even less-than-common scenarios (for example, we download and install a browser extension, then test it, in Chrome developer mode)

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Small things: environments and sites all map to each other (can't have some sites only exist for some environments), it would be so sweet if we could write a snippet that uses variables, and then when using the snippet in different tests pass different values through to be filled in (imagine a login snippet with different sets of credentials, etc)

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QAing for production, continuous integration, release testing with a multitude of tests. Rainforest allows us to write structured tests and snippets making test writing quick and easy.

 ### 41. QA Automation made easier!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

User friendly UI and easy to figure out what to do. Implementation is intuitive and efficient

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Need to run a few trial attempts and conduct testing before making the test active.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing PRs to ensure other sections of our app isn't broken because of the PR

 ### 42. Keep it simple!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

The ease of use! Creating tests and knowing when and why they fail has been super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Limiting scheduling maybe -- I wish I could schedule tests every other week.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rainforest is allowing us to ralocate re sources in areas where we need them since we are now able to automate testing

 ### 43. Helped us save a lot of time and ship code with more confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dathan W. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

The best thing about Rainforest is how easy it is to use. We are looking to have less technical team members create and maintain the Rainforest tests so that we can save a ton of time from the engineering side of things.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Right now since it has to reach out to a public facing website we are not able to run tests on our local environments while developing. It would be great if we could use it to automate some QA during development as well.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rainforest is helping us ship code with more confidence. We use it to test our main app flows so that we can save time and be more confident that there are no regressions when we push out new features. This causes fewer bugs for our users or we are able to catch the bugs much more quickly and address them before any users see them.

 ### 44. Getting better all the Time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allen C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

The ease in creating tests using simple Screenshots. I also like how you can create snippets from the tests' chosen steps. Also, the ease of duplicating tests and snippets

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

The inability to easily create tests if the element is too dynamic. Also, having to recapture screenshots if the first picture has too much or too little infromation.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rainforest QA is allowing the business to QA more efficiently and saving us from hiring an additional QA tester. The software will enable us to run tests faster than if we manually tested the site,

 ### 45. Saves us time and money

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Simple mental model and sleek interface.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Not much to complain about................

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of QA personnel.

 ### 46. Great Out of the Box Testing Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

I was able to create a simple test in minutes

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

I found it difficult to do a deep customization.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insuring that functionality is working on new websites

 ### 47. Amazing visual regression tool with lots of benefits - saving QA's time for preparing releases..!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gamita P. | QA Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

visual regression - screenshot comparing facility to show the changes (bug or desired feature change anything)
snippets and run groups for reusability
test run logs are amazing for debugging

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

it does not support in built import function for different files - like as a user I should able to import specific file frpom my RF account (not related to customised test data)
it does not support git/video assert feature

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

time saving esp when you have lots and lots of changes are coming through your product and code automation is bit too early to start
visual regression - 100%
compare screenshots before and after feature change
cross browser testing (up to certain extents)

 ### 48. Very useful for automated UI testing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

There is a slight learning curve, but it becomes super easy and intuitive once you catch on. The recognition software is accurate and tests run consistent.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

There are some limitations. For example, if I choose to have it input a random name. There is no way for the system to detect that same random name (screen capture not helpful for this since the random name is different every time).

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Running end-to-end tests on our application by creating test accounts/applications. This benefits us by assuring us that the essential functions and processes in the application are running smoothly

 ### 49. Very efficient and saved me heaps of time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Rainforest has revolutionised the way we do testing in the organisation. It is now regular, accurate and efficient and helps us quickly identify whether feature updates work as expected.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

There really are hardly any - I haven't worked out how to trigger multiple test runs in one go yet, though I'm sure this will be possible.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Testing of some our features is often slow and requires a lot of human input as they include 100+ item surveys. The automation of Rainforest has saved us hours of time.

 ### 50. Amazing product, able to do what we couldn't before!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kris S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Rainforest QA?**

Being able to automate testing our website has been instrumental in building confidence before we go live.

**What do you dislike about Rainforest QA?**

Wish there was a better way to wait for the browser to finish loading the page before continuing on with the test.

**What problems is Rainforest QA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to run thorough smoke tests before we deploy to production and ensure our product is ready to go live.
Allows us to test with multiple users at the same time.
