Curious how the inspection management community reads this one. I've been researching inspection management platforms that work well for quality managers overseeing construction site inspections across multiple locations at the same time.
The multi-site problem is its own category of hard. A quality manager who owns inspections across several active construction sites needs one standard, one view, and no site quietly drifting off on its own. Two platforms in the inspection management category come up a lot, and they solve the "multiple locations" part differently: SafetyCulture and Fulcrum.
Construction is a top industry for both, and both handle mobile inspections with photos, corrective actions, and templates across sites.
Where they pull ahead: SafetyCulture is built for the oversight seat: real-time dashboards and issue tracking that let one manager watch standards hold across every site from a single view. Fulcrum is built around location: field-first capture with strong GIS, so if "multiple locations" means geospatial site data and mapping, that's its home turf.
For the reviewers here and anyone who has run multi-site QC, which tool holds up as you add locations, and is there a third tool worth a look? Also, does the answer change with scale, like five sites versus fifty and self-perform versus subcontractor-heavy builds?
