Rapidly capture, automate and manage decisions with IBM Operational Decision Manager
Decisions is an AI-powered process orchestration platform used by enterprises to automate, optimize, and orchestrate complex, rules-driven processes—especially where decisions, approvals, exceptions, and compliance are critical. Founded in 2010, Decisions is trusted by organizations globally to modernize workflows with intelligent orchestration and robust governance, maintaining control, transparency, and audit readiness as automation scales. The platform combines visual workflow automation, an enterprise rules engine, system integrations, forms, dashboards, and AI capabilities into a single environment. Teams use Decisions to model decision logic, orchestrate workflows, and connect systems without writing custom code. This approach allows organizations to automate end-to-end processes while keeping decisions explicit, testable, and easy to change as business and regulatory requirements evolve. Decisions is designed for collaboration between subject matter experts and IT teams. Business users can define and manage decision logic visually, while IT maintains architectural oversight, security, and integrations. Decision logic that is often buried in application code, spreadsheets, or manual processes can be centralized, governed, and reused — reducing inconsistency and operational risk as systems scale. The platform is commonly used in regulated and operationally complex environments such as financial services, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, and the public sector. In these settings, automation must support human judgment, governance, and auditability — not just execution speed. By making decision logic visible and manageable, Decisions helps organizations improve consistency, accelerate change, and maintain confidence in how decisions are made, explained, and evolved over time. SELLER DESCRIPTION: Decisions and ProcessMaker merged to form a global leader in Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT). The combined organization is trusted by enterprise and mid-market customers worldwide to accelerate operations, enhance agility, and modernize without disruption.
