Long time user **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Cary P. | Industrial Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2015 **What do you like best about QuarkXPress?** Currently using Q7 to create Industrial design presentation documents. It is very flexible and provides capability to make very professional documents. I especially like the capability to generate PDFs that can then be imported in photoshop software program. Quark, good image manipulation software (photoshop) and a 3D cad software is all I need to make professional/presentable documents and presentation materials. **What do you dislike about QuarkXPress?** The validation process. It is "buggy" sometimes. I bought the software outright but I still get validate or authorization error messages. **Recommendations to others considering QuarkXPress:** I would recommend QuarkXPress to others. **What problems is QuarkXPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** With QuarkXPress I can totally create my own presentation materials without the help of outside vendors or design elements. ### 2. The tools are easy to use. I also like the new user interface. Nice and clean. **What do you dislike about QuarkXPress?** It may not be as pricey as the other programs(Adobe), but still a little pricey for me. You cannot do basic image editing, like contrast or brightness. **What problems is QuarkXPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** Digital Publishing was a problem we need to solve. QuarkXPress gave us the ability to solve that problem. ### 3.
