They rely on people not paying close attention in order to make money off monthly subscriptions. I didn’t even realize they were charging me $35 monthly for a QR code that expired. They are happy to take your money but send zero invoices or communication, so there is no paper trail. Then they lock you out of your account so you can’t even change billing info or subscription status. They take weeks to reply to emails and lie about the level of service they provide for a whopping $35 per month. ### 8. Horrible experience. They market themselves as a free QR Code Generator and after a few days, the QR Code expires and then you need to pay a significant amount of money monthly to be able to use that code. I printed mine on a huge amount of flyers that I can not use anymore . On their website is marketed as free, even it says that you can use your QR Code created during the trial period. It is not stated that it is valid just for a few days. If I have a trial period on Canva and create a video then post it on my Instagram, that video will not dissapear from my Instagram profile because my trial period on Canva ended. It is easy to use and not something I regret getting in itself, though the number of these things and the evolution of functionality means that I think that maybe I might get a different one now. But at the time, seemed the best and not let me down. **What do you dislike about QR.io?** so many other options - even in Edge flags now you have the option, so really not sure that the most basic functions are necessary (though certainly QR.io has a load of more advanced features). I can generate product specific data, print it on packaging for shipping, create help pages with a link that can be easily scanned by customers - allowing me to provide a better level of service - as well as run successful promotions through dynamic QR codes that automatically update any changes without any manual intervention. I purchased QR.io when a client asked me to design a graphic for his new van, and he wanted the graphic to feature a trackable QR code. It has done exactly what I have asked it to do and the scans of the codes has worked every time. **Recommendations to others considering QR.io:** I don't think that you can go wrong with QR.io. It could be for a business card, so the client could have their customers scan to add their contact information to their phone. Or for a church to link to an online bulletin, so they can provide their bulletin and link to online giving without printing bulletins each week and sharing information with those who view online instead of in person. I wish there was some possibility to edit the QR link before it was generated 2. The dashboard looks messy as what is put in a folder still shows up 3. There is only one view on the dashboard, a detailed view where you're able to see more of the codes generated would be great. **Recommendations to others considering QR.io:** If you are looking for a QR solution, you have to get QR.io.
