pyXLL helps integrate python libraries in the excel, which in turn helps us avoid opening python GUI and helps fulfill customer needs even if the customer does not have python installed in his system - all that is required are a few .exe files in the same folder and the add ons are ready to deploy, this is particularly useful in analytics projects like demand forecasting, pipeline forecasting and latest estimates post drug launches. the technical advantage is by superseding the python interface and , hence making the over excel file light and easy to use even with non-tech/semi-tech clients who may not be into coding. PyXLL can still be optimized further as there were some speed issues though it is definitely faster than relying completely on VBA code in excel file. Another enhancement can be integrating the additional exe files into a single exe file or perhaps integrating it in the code itself - that way when the code is called from VBA then using the cloud the specific exe files could be called instead of relying on On-prem exe files. We can definitely work on the API integrations as well wrt to other softwares and use them to showcase additional advantages that this add on could bring Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
