"Very satisfied with Proton after switching from MS365 Business"
What do you like best about Proton Mail For Business?

Much is very intuitive. Simply open an alias address and select the sender. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proton Mail For Business?

In certain areas, there are restrictions that bother me. For example, with automatic replies: I wanted to insert an image for the holiday absence, but that was only possible to a limited extent. Therefore, I left out the company logo.

When deleting, it would be nice to be able to mark multiple emails so that they can be deleted together. Also, in the email view, I would find it helpful to be able to switch directly to the next email with the arrow key.

Additionally, I wish for better Linux integration; for example, the combination of email and Proton Cloud is currently not optimal for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind"
What do you like best about Proton Mail For Business?

Proton Mail for Business gives me peace of mind, when it comes to encryption, privacy, and aligning with my values. All of the tools are so easy to set up and use so you don't have to be super tech savvy to use them. I love the mission of Proton. It makes me feel safe in communicating with clients about private matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proton Mail For Business?

I wish it was more affordable and that some features did not require that others had Proton accounts to allow for sharing. I wish it was more widely used and having lower pricing might allow for that option. It would also help if Proton helped people understand how keeping our data private as a group helps us all. I get so frustrated when people say "I"m ok if Google reads my emails." That's not what it's about! It's about opting out of their corrupt system as a whole! "Data privacy in an increasingly authoritarian world"
What do you like best about Proton Mail For Business?

What I like most about Proton Mail is that I can easily enjoy the benefits of end-to-end encryption for my emails, and it makes it easy for me to protect myself against identity theft through various products like Proton Sentinel, which will check the Dark Web for any leaks on my current email addresses, or the ability to easily create email aliases for different online accounts. Proton Mail allows you to have an easy advanced use of a secure email and adapts to your technical level, so it will appeal to both beginners and more technically advanced users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proton Mail For Business?

The fact that one can only manage one email address at a time is not a major issue in my opinion, but it's certain that when using the Proton Mail client installed natively on the computer, it would be interesting if it could manage more than one email account at a time. "Surpassed expectations"
What do you like best about Proton Mail For Business?

About a year ago, my business email account (previously on Outlook) was compromised, forcing me to start over from scratch. Unfortunately, one of my customers was also affected after receiving fraudulent communication that appeared to come from me, resulting in a loss of over $20,000. Since then, finding a secure and reliable email solution has been a top priority.

I had been using Proton for my personal email for years, so I was excited to try their business suite. The transition exceeded my expectations—migrating data from Outlook and LastPass was surprisingly seamless and straightforward.

I encountered a couple of minor issues during setup, but customer support was exceptional. Both times, I received a response within an hour, and my issues were fully resolved within 15 minutes. That level of responsiveness is rare, and it made a strong impression.

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the experience and feel confident in the security and service Proton provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Superb in every way!"
What do you like best about Proton Mail For Business?

1. De-google. I am so sick and tire of google. You get what you pay for with them and you are the product. With Proton, since I am a paying customer, I am actually a customer, not a product.

2. I can have my domains run my email under the same account. Super easy set up and with the ability to select email accounts, using one account to support multiple emails is amazing!

3. It's secure! Everything is encrypted! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proton Mail For Business?

memory usage in the browser is the biggest problem for me. I wish it was more optimized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From Google Workspace to Proton for Business -- a superior product!"
What do you like best about Proton Mail For Business?

I thought it was easy to administrate, and the cost was excellent. Very straightforward setting up the domain registration. Intuitive interface over all.

If you are using Google Workspace and want to get away from Google, Proton is a great alternative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proton Mail For Business?

The only downside is that it is hard to set up a common alias to go to multiple inboxes. For example, I had the alias `admin` and I wanted it to direct the email to both my employee and I but it wasn't possible.

I want this functionality: alias admin = employee@mydomain,me@mydomain Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Make your digital security and communications privacy easy and certain."
What do you like best about Proton Mail For Business?

It offers me the certainty I need to be able to communicate privately with sensitive clients without having to be a tech expect. Of note, they can access a free tier, so both ends of the comms chain can benefit fro hyper-secure, reliable email communications without having to be a cyber security expert. It's very simple to set up on both sides, so non-native language speakers and technical experts can get set up just as easily.

It has never failed to work for me, we've never lost an email and we feel exceptionally protected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proton Mail For Business?

There are only two problems with the desktop app. If you archive an email in the junk folder it marks the sender as safe instead of just hiding the email. The buttons are side-by-side so its a common error. The second is that the undo buttons stack up when deleting multiple emails, and they can get in the way of the button to archive or delete more. Small friction on a great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Security Professional on Proton Mail Security"
What do you like best about Proton Mail For Business?

As a security professional with over 25 years of experience, the platform’s privacy and security are what initially drew me to it for my personal email. After about two years of using it, I felt Proton Mail had reached a level I was comfortable relying on for business email as well. At that point, I migrated my business email from Microsoft 365 Exchange to Proton Mail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proton Mail For Business?

Syncing and managing contacts feels disjointed and unmanageable from a business perspective. There should be a separate place to manage contacts outside of Proton Mail, rather than having everything tied to the mail interface. Both for individual users and a business level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It just works"

The UI is better than gmail. There's no ads. oh, and I don't have to worry about Google reading my emails! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Proton Mail For Business?

I wish I could rearrange the button order. I'd put the spam button closer to the left side for faster access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
