It's too easy for emails to get lost and when searching for them, I am not able to find the emails. I have utilized the function of searching the body of the email and that did help but I find that it's easy to miss and not respond. I recently found that a snooze button option is available but it doesn't seem to be easily accessible across platforms and making that more accessible would be very helpful. As I run my business through this email platform, I'll often receive emails and want to follow up with them later. I often mark the email as unread to remind myself later but a boomerang function or snooze function may be helpful if they were more easily accessible. Building out Proton Drive is useful for securing sensitive information and supporting its ease of use or shared access to approved individuals will be key for further adoption. I strongly wish that the filter options were more easily updated and combined automatically instead of having 50+ filters. When there's similar criteria going to a similar destination, it gets combined. I use many filters and start viewing my emails from a particular folder where emails get filtered to. Whenever I open your application, I'm always prompted to start at the inbox and not in one of the preferred default folders for managing emails. The thing that I like most about using Proton Mail for Business, is the simplicity of using the product. As a travel blog writer, I am the only person and "I wear many hats". Pointing the domain server to Proton Mail is something I can easily do, and I can add or remove email addresses quickly when needed, like when a domain needs to verify "webmaster@" instead of "admin@" for example. Proton Mail for Business provides a unique and broad set of services for business users. Unlike free email services and some paid providers, Proton Mail for Business is focused on security first and foremost. It allows user roles to be defined at the administrative level within an organization, which helps with managing access and responsibilities. It also offers strong encryption, including integration with keychain security (end-to-end encryption). Most email providers don’t include this in their standard packages, or they offer it only at an unusually high financial cost. Proton Mail actually delivers that security with speed and great integration to its suite of products that cover various uses needed within an organization. I have no dislikes about Proton Mail for Business, as it absolutely addresses our organization’s needs at every level. If an issue ever comes up, the Proton Mail for Business support team responds quickly and works to resolve whatever the problem is, while keeping us informed of the progress until everything is fully resolved. I like the encryption built into the program as well as it's reliability and robustness. The application is easy to use and is very customizable making it a tool I use every single day. I use it for personal and professional purposes and I would not think of using anything else as my primary email system. I have others for backup but I only use Proton mail. I also like thta I can use my primary domain name in email and answer email using the same domain name. This shows customers that I am professional and reliable to do business with. Unlike some email services provides, your data is not mined for targeted ads or sold to third parties. Proton mail settings management is centralized and I find the user interface very easy to use; and the settings options are intuitive and straight forward. Adding and removing users is a breeze. Proton mail offers flexibility to add features, more users or complementary products as your business grows. The service is scalable to your needs from a new Start-up to large enterprises. Proton also has AI-powered features that supports drafting and proofreading support. Best of all, the AI assistant is private as well! I wouldn't say I dislike the search capability, but I make other users aware that you will not get extensive search because the body and content of your emails are not searchable BY DESIGN. The end-to-end encryption will limit access to your data, but you can search by the email subject. Also, if you are accustomed to the extension add-ons and third-party tools that Microsoft 365 you won't get that broad range of tools and integrations with Proton Mail for Business. We've been using Proton Mail for Business on both macOS and iPhone, and it's been an excellent experience.

One feature I really appreciate is how easy it is to switch between alias email addresses when sending mail. It's quick, seamless, and works exactly as it should.

The biggest area where I'd like to see Proton improve is AI-powered email management.

I understand and appreciate Proton's strong focus on privacy, but I think there's an opportunity to introduce optional, privacy-preserving agentic AI features. For example, an AI assistant that can intelligently categorize and route emails, identify action items, prioritize important messages, summarize long threads, and suggest filing or labels would significantly improve productivity.

As email volumes continue to grow, intelligent automation is becoming an essential business tool. If Proton can deliver these capabilities while maintaining its industry-leading privacy and security standards, it would create a compelling advantage over competing business email platforms.
