Proton's enterprise support structure is fundamentally broken for business customers. I made eight formal escalation requests over several weeks, asking to be routed to someone with commercial authority. Every request was absorbed by the support tier and never executed. I requested escalation to the Proton Foundation and executive leadership no fewer than eight times. Every request was acknowledged and ignored.
When I located their enterprise email address and sent a detailed inquiry describing a potential 50-seat Workspace deployment worth between $7,794 and $11,994 per year, I gave their enterprise team six full business days to respond. They said nothing.
The core issue is that when Workspace launched, Business Suite customers were migrated automatically at no cost. Legacy Business customers — despite having functionally identical product access — were told to upgrade manually, thereby terminating their paid subscriptions early and forfeiting a lifetime discount.
