I really enjoy how user-friendly the system is. Onboarding new users is faster than some other software I've used in the past because of how intuitive the interface is. The financial reporting, planning and budgeting tools are what drew us to the software and Prophix offers a complete, comprehensive suite of tools for all of these needs. I've only had very positive experiences with customer support and the staff seems to be extremely friendly. My department uses this tool daily and it has been a success story with our organization. I would like to see more of a focus on financial projections and predictive budgeting. Prophix has some tools capable of this but none have been able to replace our Excel models just yet. Prophix is very easy to use (both for those that work in finance and outside of finance), the company offers great customer support and is always available when we have issues, and we are excited that Prophix is continuing to invest in additional features (such as AI). I think the dashboards could use some improvement (we do most of our graphs in Excel due to the limitations in Prophix), some reports are not very usable right when they are downloaded and require manipulation in Excel, and it would be great if we were able to access invoices/other support directly in Prophix rather than having to go outside of the tool. I find Prophix Software incredibly easy to use. We really like the drill-down feature since it allows us to get to the root cause for why expense codes are higher or lower than expected compared to the budget. The ability to flex budget and look at actual results versus the budget at any given moment is quite valuable. The dashboard is also beneficial as it showcases our key critical KPIs on each user's screen based on their needs. Additionally, the initial setup and implementation were very easy, thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful implementation team, who were great at explaining things to users of all levels in a flexible and understanding way. One thing that has frustrated some of the users is on the Prophix training. The training is designed for basic users, and most of our users have some experience with Microsoft Power BI. They understand some of the characteristics of cubes and layers, so those sections of the training don't really hold their attention. However, you still have to go through it to complete your certification. A way to bypass some segments based on expertise or maybe a test could be beneficial for other users. I like Prophix Software for its overall product functionality and excellent support team. The software has good security and workflows built in, which allow us to grant access to multiple users while ensuring they only access what they need. This is complemented by the workflow features that automate deliverables, reducing the need for manually sending out emails. Its ability to speed up our monthly close, make forecasting less error-prone, and cut down our WIP process from a week to just a day or two is really valuable. My only complaint is how long it takes to load Prophix using our GL software. I believe that is an issue on our end with our current process however, so we are working to correct that with the help of Prophix support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to do custom reports in Prophix Software, which is especially convenient for ad hoc report requests from our operating companies. It allows us to switch versions, time, and layout quickly. The workflows are useful for reminding people to enter data. Prophix saves us time on report creation, as it's faster and more reliable than using Excel, where there's always a concern about formulas or errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although the workflows are great, we've had issues with users not getting email notifications (which they said they fixed last year), with the opposite now, of users getting multiple duplicate emails.
