It was the best decision! Proofpoint configuration is very flexible and always meets our requirements. The guided implementations helped us quickly deploy the solution. The user admin interface is complex and a bit dated, but they are progressing. Users have no interaction other than spam digests and email protection is great. We have added many services/components to our Proofpoint solution and the complexity does lead to many dashboards, but once you get used to it, it becomes easy to use. It helps filter out a substantial amount of spam/bulk emails. It allows us as administrators (as well as users) to block malicious or unwanted senders. The tools do a wonderful job determining what is legitimate and what is not legitimate. **What do you dislike about Proofpoint Core Email Protection?** Like all tools in this space it is not perfect and there are times when illegitimate emails get through but I have noticed that only about 1-2% of the time that I have used the product after it has been tuned. **What problems is Proofpoint Core Email Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping us solve the number one way that attackers get into an organization and that is stopping phishing emails from coming in and also providing the tools that allow us to automate the analysis of emails that come inwhich allow our Tier 2 and 3 analysts to focus on higher priority incidents. Their security awareness tool alone has significantly decreased the number of clicks on malicious links due to clear information that is displayed in the trainings. ### 33.
