This translates to a lot of storage space that is important for our facility and others like it where equipment performance is closely watched. **What do you dislike about Proficy Historian?** The retrieval system of the Proficy Historian sometimes appears to be awkward and sluggish. It causes a lag which I find is quite annoying when I want to pull up certain data to solve a particular problem or even to analyze trends concerning the systems. **What problems is Proficy Historian solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Proficy Historian I am able to analyze trends within equipment usage, detect areas where key production processes are slow, and make future decisions based on the gathered data. However, the problem of slow retrieval can be a major disadvantage in some instances. ### 2.
