What stands out the most is the ease of use combined with the depth of functionality. The interface is intuitive, even for users who aren’t pricing experts, and the logic behind pricing rules is clear and flexible. Implementation was smoother than expected, thanks to the excellent onboarding team who really took the time to understand our needs.

Their customer support is exceptionally responsive and knowledgeable, always quick to offer solutions and suggestions. The platform is robust, but at times the number of features can feel overwhelming—especially in the early stages of use. Some reporting capabilities could be made more user-friendly for non-technical stakeholders, and certain integrations required more manual effort than initially anticipated.

Most other pricing software focuses on turnover-based pricing optimization, which is commonly preferable, especially for FMCG.

PriceEdge has the features to do the same, but the focus is more on attribute-based pricing, which is preferable for sales with a technical focus, where the turnover often is not fast enough for the data to support turnover-based optimization. PriceEdge just moved to a new data platform to support long-term development. Whereas this does seem like a good choice long-term, it has come with a cost of functionality here and now, causing the users to have to rebuild work processes that used to work just fine. Price Edge is a user friendly software and an effective tool, give us the chance to move any analysis from general to detail, from aggregated data to single item level.

The Item insights provide an immediate understanding of what is occurring on the market for each product; in fact, the competition is easy to understand thanks to the tracking of competitors prices.

As result we have the ability to react quickly to market’s movements, relying on a powerful and precise rule engine where customers can choose among a high number of options, in order to create a well organized and effective set of strategies.

Besides the perfomance and technical side, Price Edge team is always disposable and prompt to give support, playing an active role, studying tool customization, facing any challenge raised into a fast-moving market.

Areas where they still have to reach the top are analytics and reporting, just believing that Price Edge still have potential to express in these areas and make their tool even more time saving (anyway we work and perform good with the current features); actually, since they are always looking for better solution to provide, they and us already agreed on features to develop and release in order to reach that goal and I’m sure we’ll see results in the next few monthes.
