Now they removed it. This will definitely make me consider other options in time, especially because my courses and videos have to be in compliance with WCAG. 2-personalization and limited character appearance: I'm working with communities that need to see videos that could be relatable to their ethnic and identity. Characters cannot be as customized with those characteristics unfortunately. Came across Powtoon for its text to speech feature which is now so good its hard to tell it is AI most of the time. It runs smoothly and the new full timeline view is great! the support is great and they come back quickly to any support request. I have used it for a variety of videos from training to social media, to presentations to creating GIFs, it does so much and for a reasonable cost compared to others. **What do you dislike about Powtoon?** The fact you had to scroll the timeline but they have just fixed this with a global view. I do wish it had a feature for the elements added to the slide so you can reorder where it sits from front to back as currently its a blind press of forward or back on the arrange setting to get it where you want it, but this is a minor issue that only occurs on animations i am doing a lot on. **What problems is Powtoon solving and how is that benefiting you?** We first starting using it for our training videos, as explaining our solutions can sometimes become quite complicated so the ability to combine video and animations with a text to speech voice over was the solution we were looking for. We have completed those training videos but continue to use powtoon for a range of videos, presentations across the business as it really is useful and well worth the cost. ### 4. I enjoy being able to organize all of my videos, having them in one place, and making them easily accessible and searchable. It's nice to be able to save scenes and share them. I find Powtoon very easy to learn. The AI video generator is pretty good, although it can be improved. I appreciate being able to save and reuse scenes which makes it faster and less tedious as I swap out text for new lessons. The on-screen text effects are easy to use and align well with audio narration, even though I'd like more effects and fonts available. The AI video generator is a great feature because it helps enhance lessons visually. A few AI voices sound realistic and enhance the videos compared to just having text. These aspects make Powtoon valuable for my video creation process. **What do you dislike about Powtoon?** I get frustrated by so many bugs in Powtoon. I really wish you could have more than 2 videos per scene. The AI video generator often puts out black borders on top and bottom unless specified otherwise, and even then it only works about half the time, wasting my time. A 'continue from last frame' feature for the current video could be really helpful. Powtoon lacks customization options, like being able to move the brand logo freely. The stock footage, props, and special effects need more variety. Loading times for search are quite slow and there isn’t a search function in 'my media'. The quality of AI-generated images is outdated and needs improvement. I am not happy with the current font options and text effects, we need more variety. You can only add or cut one second at a time, and cannot adjust the timeline by less than one second. This makes video creation buggy. Because if I have an audio that's 10.3 seconds long, I'll have to make the timeline 11 seconds. That 0.7 second of silence will be awkward. 2. Lack of flexibility for animations and transitions. You cannot adjust the speed or time for any animations, which makes the video seem too rushed and doesn't really fit the audio. 3. Adding texts are not user friendly. You'll have to drag the text to where you want it to be, and then click the textbox multiple times for you to edit it. Sometimes your edits to the text will not be saved properly, so make sure to double-check if the final work is what you want. 4. AI text-to-speech works well, but the character limitation is so annoying!! 600 characters at a time is really not enough. And if you have multiple audio tracks on one slide, the timeline will be messed up. And when you try to drag the audio tracks to the correct timing, the timeline will not allow you to do so properly. You'll have to click the 'edit' mode and then come back to 'create' mode for the timeline to work properly. E.g, if your window is showing [0:17-0:35] right now, but you want to drag your audio clip from [0:20] to [0:01], then you'll have to click 'edit' and then back to 'create' multiple times for the audio to be dropped to 0:01. Or else it will forever be stuck at [0:17]. **What problems is Powtoon solving and how is that benefiting you?** Powtoon works as an online repository for our global team to keep track of existing work, video materials, and elements.
