&lt;p&gt;Staying close to the core can pay off later when upgrades arrive, so I’d ask partners how they distinguish necessary customization from something configuration can already solve. That decision discipline may be more revealing than the initial build itself. Did keeping customization minimal noticeably reduce upgrade or maintenance effort later?&lt;/p&gt;
