The connector also supports personal access tokens, sharing controls, ownership management, audit logs, and export history, helping teams govern how SAP data is used in Power BI. It is designed for high-volume enterprise reporting and complex SAP data structures, giving finance, sales, procurement, operations, and management teams faster access to focused, report-ready SAP data.

**What do you like best about Power BI Connector for SAP?**

A no-code way to get governed, incremental access to large S/4HANA datasets in Power BI that survives SAP schema changes and upgrades without any pipeline rework.

**What do you dislike about Power BI Connector for SAP?**

Initial deployment requires some preparation, as the connector runs on SAP BTP. The first-time setup involves creating a BTP subaccount and coordinating with the SAP administration team before the BI team can take full ownership. Additionally, since the connector is relatively new to the SAP Store, its public documentation and community ecosystem are not yet as extensive as those of more established alternatives.

**What problems is Power BI Connector for SAP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the key challenges of fragile, extract-based SAP-to-Power BI integration, including custom ETL maintenance, data replication issues, and reports that may fail unnoticed after SAP upgrades.
